“I've lived in Chantilly for the past eight years and regularly shop at Costco, but I only recently realized there was a Lidl in the area. Coming from Lee Road, I never noticed any signage that clearly indicated the store's presence, which is probably why I had overlooked it for so long.
Once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the store. The produce looked fresh, and the bakery had a great selection at very reasonable prices. I did notice that there weren't any employees available in the produce or bakery sections when I needed assistance.
However, my experience quickly turned positive when I met the store manager, Achyut. A special shoutout to him for going above and beyond to help me find the items I was looking for. During our conversation, I discovered that he's also from Nepal(where I am from), which made the interaction even more memorable. He was incredibly friendly, humble, and welcoming.
Achyut also helped me with wine recommendations and explained that the store was currently a little short-staffed, which is why there weren't associates available in the produce and bakery departments at the time.
Overall, my first visit to Lidl was a very positive experience. While the store may not have the same variety as some larger supermarkets, the products they carry especially their private label brands offer excellent value for the price. I also downloaded the MyLidl app and found several great deals and discounts.”
“Tracy in the deli made me the best Italian sub I've had in years! The three cheese bread was really fresh and the cheese on top was crispy. I've had a lot of HT subs on that bread, but never realized the cheese could be crispy. She was friendly, fast and a real pro! Highly recommended!”
“Love this Latino grocery store. Always has my fav corn tortillas, El Milagro (aka the best in the US). Good assortment of snacks, staple ingredients (ex cilantro, onions), and other Latino essentials. Staff are always nice which is a plus.”
“I used to go to a CVS pharmacy right next to my house. I got tired of the long lines and the rude people. Driving 2 miles further to this Wegmans pharmacy is so worth it! I’ve been going here now for 4 years, and everyone here is super nice! It is a night and day experience.”
“Aldi prices are reasonable. You may not find all the random items here but once you know it you like it. Retail sales of groceries items like fruit and vegetables are in unbeatable price. Not forget to go with a 25cent coin if not you can ask for cashier's they are ready to help.”

“My wife and I have tried numerous (10+) halal meat markets throughout Northern Virginia (e.g., Fredericksburg to Leesburg). Without a doubt, Abbas and the whole Team at Al Makkah Mart are the best! Even though we moved from the area, we still make the almost 2-hour round-trip each month from Stafford to purchase our meat from them. Everything is prepared to order. Clean, reasonably priced, and well worth the time to come see them each month. Friendly and very accommodating as well.”
