“I used to live right next to this store, so it was my main grocery store. I've since moved to Centreville, and while I do most of my shopping now at the nearby Wegmans, I still drive a few times a month to Herndon to shop here. It's a smallish store, meaning it doesn't always offer the selection of some others in the area, but it also means it's not overwhelming. More importantly, to me, it means it's the kind of place where they recognize me, even after coming less frequently, and greet me and chat with me. It's very welcoming and friendly and in a huge chain, that's rare.”

“This place smells just like what you want to smell when you are trying to find whatever cultural/ethnic food item you may need. Fruits, meats, seasonings, beer and wine. The issue is actually finding it. I used to ask at one time. Now I don't even bother. Either I know where the item is located or I end up stumbling across it in some other aisle. I've gotten good over the years. But yeah, definitely a need for this type of place and I wouldn't trade it for the world.”
