The store will hold the mattress until I am ready for pickup. Plus I lucked into their Black Friday sale price in early November. I liked that the product was American made.”

“My husband and I received a warm greeting within minutes of entering the store. The expert salesman, Tyler, was not intrusive by any means. We had time to view the beautiful store which is nicely lit. Furniture is happy and well arranged by type. They carry the Yellowstone brand which included displays of my favorite characters on the show. We were on our way to an event, but Tyler could sense our time constraints and quickly guided us to the items we needed. Comfortable sleep is important and he suggested the platform and mattress to suite our habits. My husband and I will continue to trust Grand Home Furnishings with our furniture needs.”

“I'm pretty biased, as I worked for both the Construction Team as a Crew Leader and then as Volunteer Coordinator for the Store. I can give you some hush-hush inside info as a result: 1. The prices are outstanding, as items are priced low to begin with, and then as time moves on, items automatically enter an increasing discount based on the tag color. Look for the large discount wheel above the shopping floor for details. 2. Come early and often to get the best stuff. 3. Check out the amazing back corner on the top floor, where exotic, expensive, historic, and notable pieces are shown. 4. Keep an eye out for the energy and commitment of the volunteer workforce. The store itself runs with less than ten staff, and relies heavily on volunteer help. 5. Holds for purchased items are allowed, and pickup can happen within a few days before your purchase is considered abandoned. 6. The store does donation pickup, but it must be arranged. They do not do delivery, but offer a list of trusted movers who you can call to hire. 7. If an item is not priced, it is not available for sale. If you see your favorite new coffee table being donated, it's not ready for purchase yet. Discounts are not given, as the price is firm, and the policy is clear. 8. The Store offers furniture, bed frames, housewares, tools, parts, appliances, doors & windows, lighting, antiques, lumber, fixtures, baths and sinks, flooring, paint, and electronics. They do NOT sell clothes, mattresses, or media items like books. 9. The staff and volunteers are always ready to load out your purchases, and help you in any reasonable way. 10. When you buy there, you are helping people to buy their own home. Highly recommended, deeply encouraged, would go again.”

We had build-in shelves around a gas fireplace at our former home and were hoping to recreate the look and feel of this in our new home. “I have been shopping at World Market for a couple years now. I never knew when a wonderful place it was until those few years ago and now whenever I go there it's like putting a kid in a toy store. So many unique gifts and household items that you can find in one location. There's also a food, beer and wine section in the back with items not regularly found locally.”

Dan, from Funk Brothers, was able to incorporate every single detail I asked for and more! Every detail on the vanity is unique and beautiful, even down to the hardware. I was able to customize the size, style, details, doors, ect. It is a work of art and turned out even better than I could have imagined. He won’t follow you around the store asking a million questions but he will point you in the right direction and answer questions as needed. The furniture is great quality at a fair price. “Recently purchased my first 'real' piece of furniture for my new apt from Shewels Home. I was looking for a couch that was relatively inexpensive but also stylish and functional. CONNIE WAS FANTASTIC!!!! She helped show us all the options in our price range not just for ordering but also went above and beyond to find out any possible floor models available or sales etc. She was extremely helpful and always willing to double check or ask for more information so that we had all the details we needed. “Like any other target, this location has a lot of everything. I'm not one for shopping excursions, but I can't help myself here. The only trouble you may run into is finding assistance. It seems a lot of people you see stocking on the floor aren't trained to assist if it's not their department. But I don't find it to be a huge issue as I've been here enough that I know where everything I need is. As targets go, 4 stars is appropriate”
“My osteopath said I needed a better pillow so I searched maps for a mattress store and am so grateful I found this gem! Unlike the several newfangled pillows I have purchased online, probably made with toxic stuff in China, which promise to be ergonomic but don't fit my small frame at all, this store smells so natural and feels so pleasant to walk into. The woman who helped me was helpful and so joyful. She explained everything is made locally. I feel so lucky this store was along my route home. They have a fairly wide selection of pillows with some having the option to adjust the stuffing to your preferences. I'm optimistic I've found my pillow soulmate after years of searching.”
