“Prices here are always lower than surrounding area - sometimes as much as 10 cents/gallon lower. It's pretty quick to get in and out, even if there's a line. It runs pretty smoothly. You can scan your membership card or scan the qr code on the app to begin. The attendant is helpful and friendly, even on 95° days when the 'feels like' temp is 101°!”

“The attendant is always attentive and helpful. It only gets 4 stars because it needs more pumps… there’s almost always a line and they’re sometimes quite long.”

“Costco in Charlottesville consistently delivers an outstanding shopping experience. The store is clean, well-organized, and stocked with a great selection of high-quality products at competitive prices. What truly sets this location apart is the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Employees are always helpful, courteous, and willing to assist customers with questions or finding products. The checkout process is efficient, and even during busy hours, the team works hard to keep lines moving quickly. I especially appreciate the excellent customer service and the overall atmosphere of the store. Whether shopping for groceries, household essentials, electronics, or seasonal items, Costco continues to provide exceptional value and a reliable shopping experience for my family. Thank you to the management and staff at Costco Charlottesville for your dedication and hard work. It is clear that customer satisfaction is a priority, and it is greatly appreciated. Highly recommended.”

“There’s a guy named a Ciaran who works here and he handles the pressure of the rush with an amazing attitude. Costco should hang on to this guy and give him a raise!”

“Staff easy to reach by phone and will go out of the way to contact other pharmacies and doctor’s offices to resolve issues with my scripts. Love the text messaging system so I can see when my script is ready and the price, and the text message refill reminders too. They also automatically check to see if my insurance or their own pricing program gives me the better price. I’ve gone to other pharmacies but always keep coming back here.”

“One stop shop and good deals. I can fill my car with gas and shop for dinner while I’m there. Most of the staff are greet me with a smile. I do enjoy the early shop with my business membership and the money earned from shopping pays for my yearly membership. They are always receiving new products. If you are looking for ties they have all the big name brands at an affordable price. I must mention the free tire rotation and free plugging. Just to make a few. Just a very place to shop!”

“They fit me in last minute before the storm. I was on call that weekend and I wouldn't have made it to work otherwise. They were busy, I don't feel like my wait was unreasonable given it was the Friday before a major snow storm.”

“Absolutely SUPER staff. They will work HARD to find you a way to afford a medication that costs out of your comfort zone. Great for advice, and friendly to boot! Our pups completely LOVE Jen!”

“I love Costco (hence the 4 stars) but want to ask management to do something about handicapped parking. I've been there at least 20 times this year and there is always insufficient handicapped parking. So I checked yesterday and the two previous times. At least half of the parked cars do not have permanent or temporary plates or placards. This creates a problem for those, like me, who need those spaces. You need to call the police to have them come and cite the cars or they will continue.”

“Costco is an exceptional organization all around and that includes their vision services. We enjoy the big selection of glasses and the very personal service doing the eye measurements before ordering and then custom fitting them after the glasses are made. Excellent prices.”

“Went in last week to inquire about (long-overdue) new tires for my 2009 Honda CRV, and was helped by LT. He was so understanding of my tight budget as a teacher, and steered me towards a great sale that was happening this week on a highly-rated set of Goodyears. Had my appt today, and was in and out in less than 2 hours with great customer service from LT and his team. Thanks guys! Will be reaching out to higher-ups to let them know how awesome your team is, despite staffing difficulties.”

“It is always a pleasure to dine in the Samsclub Cafe. I’ve been eating here for decades and have never had a bad experience. Best icecream and pizza in town. Very cost efficient.”

“Thank you to Sam’s Club automotive department for helping me out today. When I left work I discovered a nail in my rear passenger tire. The automotive department took me as a walk in and repaired my tire very quickly. They also corrected tire pressure in all my tires. I appreciate the great service.”
