“The front desk attendant Coke was so friendly and welcoming! The room(king suite) was very spacious and clean,the bathroom water got nice and hot,the ac worked really well also! I've seen a lot of reviews about the ac being loud and it was on the older side so keep that in mind maybe if you're a light sleeper,I enjoyed the white noise personally. Be mindful the hotel is near the interstate so you can hear car noise but again,it's really no biggie unless you need that perfect silence to sleep(then you probably already use ear plugs or headphones to sleep). I was able to connect my Netflix account to the TV and watch some shows,just a great stay. Definitely will be back!!”

“We stayed here prior to leaving for a cruise out of Norfolk. Due to weather we ended up having to book a second night. Couldn’t have asked for a better room setup to accommodate us! Our stay was great from start to finish. All staff was friendly, courteous and eager to help. Breakfast was great especially with Ms. Laura. She made sure you had everything you needed and was so friendly. Will definitely plan to come here again whenever staying in the area.”

“This is the nicest NGIS I’ve ever stayed at.
It’s important to note that I am in the main building, which apparently is the nicest one. I’ve heard the additional buildings have rooms that are not quite as updated and do not have kitchens. If you can get a room in the main building, I would highly recommend.

There is a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, stove, and stocked with what you need to cook and eat. There is a living room and a bedroom, each with a TV and closets for storage.”

“Hotel general area and the room was clean, and there was coffee maker and fridge in the room, which was great, but no microwave. Advertised as Hot Breakfast included, but is only the waffle, rest is bread, muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt … which are still good. Juices and Bananas and apples were available also. So all was good…
Only negative was the two days we stayed there. There was no coffee , machine was out of service,
There was tea bags available, but no coffee bags or could have gone to grocery store and buy instant coffee to be made for duration of coffee machine being out of order…. Hot water was available.
We needed coffee to get our day started….. hot tea just didn’t do it….”

“The cleaning crew are awesome in keeping the rooms clean & fresh.As well as keeping the yard & ground clean.It would help if upper management would support the cleaning crew in keeping this property clean and clear of all debris.On site property manager and wife are supportive and very helpful.Solicitation, drugs and prostitution are not tolerated on this property i have noticed.I would like to think that the property is moving in a positive direction from old to new. I urge upper management to get on board with the cleaning crew and on-site management in keeping this property clear and clean of any trash or debris? This property is a awesome location for Chesapeake Va.

Food and drinks: Grocery stores, restaurants and bars all are close.No more than 10 to 15 minutes away by car.”

“I drove from Charlotte, NC to Chesapeake, VA and arrived in the hotel at 9 AM on May 18. The black lady in the front desk (can't remember her name) was kind enough to let me check in early even though the standard check in time is 3 PM. She was very professional and has a positive demeanor towards customers. She was smiling the whole time she was processing my check in request. My room was neat and clean. Location is good too as it is close to everything (shops, groceries, major highways). In my 3 days 2 nights stay, I did not experience car break-ins although I saw some suspecting individuals roaming around the parking lot at night. Overall, I am pleased with my stay in this hotel.”

“Was very helpful and nice and very professional even after I had an attitude because I didn't understand stand something The manger was very patient and let me vent and then in a calm manner got me to understand everything so yes I'll definitely recommend and book again a very clean place and I stay in many for work”
