βI rarely write reviews, but I had such a positive experience at Anderson Sunoco Gas Station & Auto Repair in Arlington, VA that I had to share. I want to give a huge shout-out to Victor, who went above and beyond to help me with my car. He was not only knowledgeable and efficient but also incredibly honest β which, as many of us know, is not always easy to find in auto repair.
Victor took the time to explain everything clearly, gave me honest advice about what really needed to be done (and what didnβt), and made sure I left feeling confident and taken care of. There was no pressure, no upselling, just genuine help and great service.
If you're looking for a place thatβs trustworthy, professional, and treats you like a valued customer, I highly recommend Anderson Sunoco. Victor is the real deal β thank you again!β

βI've been a customer of Salam's for over 5 years and have never has a complaint about his work. He has always been professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He has fixed everything from bodywork to brakes to spark plugs and electrical problems in my car. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable, knowledgeable and affordable mechanic.β
βBeen coming here for oil changes and state inspections for many years. Prices for services outside of inspections are what you'd expect. But when it comes to car mechanics, can't put a price on honesty. Very trustworthy people working here. Most of the low star reviews is based on waiting times, which is kind of out of their control.β

βI have gotten the usual safety and emissions inspections here for the past 20 years. Always orderly and the inspectors have always been friendly.
Recently I usually get gas on Sunday when needed. Vincent is on duty and now when I pull in, he offers to pump the gas for me. That's very nice as I am elderly and recently have had surgery on both feet and standing/balance can be challenging. TY Vincent!
Last Month I stopped in an chatted with Favio Burke...I had renewal decals for my tags, but I am unable to bend over and remove the tags to get the decals on properly. It was a cold rainy day, and he took a look and brought the tags inside. He cleaned them up with spray 9 and allowed me to apply the decals. He then reinstalled them on the car perfectly. I asked him how much do I owe you, and he replied no charge. He wouldn't take a tip nor buy him lunch! I couldn't say TY enough, as I have a partial disability and elderly. He was genuine friendly and seemed quite knowledgeable about automotive issues. TY Favio!β

β17Aug.2022..I was here last yr and no idea why Google maps doesnβt have my review up here. Anyway Class VI is completely stocked at all times and always having some up-to-date new spirits in stock. Absolutely love, love, love this spot for all of my snacks and spirits purchases.β
βStopped in this afternoon after reading the sandwich reviews. So many shops get subs wrong and they rocked it. Thin sliced turkey, the right amount of mayo, a nice sharp provolone and a soft roll with the right amount of chew. Anytime a liquor store dedicates floor space for a deli you know the sandwiches are gonna be great. This place did not disappoint. I'll be back for sure.β

TL:DR - Hiring process is crap and annoying to deal with, Hispanic section is good, and their donuts are AMAZING.
Come here AT LEAST for the donuts, fr worth it.
8 of my friends (9 including me) never got any kind of response when we applied to work here, plus the managers always seemed to mysteriously unavailable to be spoken to.
I've literally called the store, got told to call back the next morning, called the next morning, "Manager on vacation" :/
when will they be back? " X date." Thanks so much.
Called back on X date, "She'll be here tomorrow morning" thanks.
Calls back tomorrow morning, "Hi, not here. Call again tomorrow morning."
At which point I came INTO THE STORE to speak with this elusive hiring manager, just to be told that they were on vacation and won't be back for a while.

So suffice to say, hiring process seems messy, outdated, unreliable, and flat out non-functional at times.
The website needs to be updated, the employees need proper customer service training because regardless of what I'm calling about, and who's answering, it's always in a tone that sounds like I might aswell be interrupting a neurosurgeon mid incision.
The only redeeming quality of this store is what it sells, and I'm not talking standard groceries.
Not only does Shoppers have a decent spread of hispanic foods, ingredients, drinks & snacks, but it's also got some of, if not THE BEST donuts you could buy from a store.
The donut chains like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme got nothing on SFW donuts, they got Croissant donuts (Cronuts), marble iced, Holland Creme (my favorite), jam filled, lemon pudding filled, boston creme, and of course all your standard donut types like powdered, brown sugar, plain and glazed, not to even mention some specialty ones they have on occasion like the apple pie filled brown sugar, or marbled icing cronuts.
Plus they're reasonably priced, which automatically raises the rating for me.

βI stopped in on my way home, I walked from East Falls Church Metro Station down the street (less than 5mins walk), to grab an easy dinner for my wife and I. Not only did I get a great deal by ordering and paying for a pepperoni ? pizza on the 7-11 app (it was only $8??), but I redeemed 2 rewards as well (?οΈfountain sodas?), and I returned to my home in Reston with dinner for under ??βΌοΈ The guy working tve register was very helpful and got me on my way quickly! Very happy!β€οΈ?β
βI always come here for my yearly inspections and every time they are reliable and speedy and do a great job. So far Iβve had an alignment done with them and many inspections that were all more than satisfactory. The mechanics here should be recognized for their consistency and great customer service.β

βThere is ALWAYS a line of cars fighting for a spot, rudely clogging up the street and making traffic difficult. Why? Because the gas here is almost pre-biden priced. It's at least 50 cents cheaper than anywhere else nearby. No wonder it's always a fight to get in. It would be perfect if the narcissists didn't clog up the streets nearby.β
βQuaint sized store with a nice selection off name brand makeups and perfumes. Select section of clothing and expensive name brand purses. Name brand apparel and sneakers.
The food court has ample seating with a small restaurant choice for eating. Navy Federal is directly besides the food court.
There are two levels in this building and the second level( depending which way you enter)has a package store, electronics, snacks, food, pharmacy, barbershop, and household department.
It has most of what you need with decent prices. Not too many sale items.β

βCame in this morning morning, greeted by friendly service, cars being worked on, they seem to be full machete, mechanic shop, gentlemen is quite nice and it was able to give me a free bottle of water. I appreciate the day and a good start to the morning.β
βTook my car to get new tires installed. EXCELLENT SERVICE! Usman (hope Iβm spelling that properly) and the crew did a phenomenal job with the install. Easily the friendliest and most professional mechanic I have ever been to. 100% recommend.β

βI stopped by the Shell gas station in Springfield specifically because it participates in the Upside program, which offers rewards and discounts. Overall, my experience was positive. The gas station was clean and well-maintained, and the attendant was friendly and helpful.
The only drawback was that one of the gas pumps was out of order, which was a minor inconvenience. However, the remaining pumps were functioning properly, and I was able to fill up quickly and easily.
One note to keep in mind is that the gas station's location on a corner can make it a bit tricky to navigate, with three entrances to choose from. However, once you're inside, the station is easy to navigate, and the staff is happy to help with any questions or concerns. Overall, I would still recommend this Shell gas station to anyone in the area, especially if you'reΒ anΒ UpsideΒ user.β

βThe car wash is out of foam. I wash my car here weekly and last 2 times including today you get no foam. $17 for this car wash and it didn't clean the windshield well.β

βBy far the best 7-Eleven in the area. The staff is lovely. I've spoken particularly with Akash but I've also enjoyed interacting with the other staff.Also...the grind & brew coffee machine *always* works. That's honestly incredible, it's usually broken or out of ingredients at other spots.β

βI own a 27 year old Mitsubishi and thereβs no one I trust more than Paul and his staff at CITGO on Lee Hwy and Nutly Road. They will take the time to do the job right. The entire staff is honest, friendly and hardworking. Iβve been with these guys for several years and cannot say enough about the outstanding quality of work and great customer service at a great price. They will fix exactly whatβs needed on you car and they donβt up charge.I highly recommend Paul and his staff at Citgo for your auto maintenance needs.β
