“Amazing amazing place! Comes highly recommended from folks around NoVa (also Falls Church award program best auto repair shop 2022, 2023, 2025). It’s a family-run business + extra hands on deck. Felix was at a Honda dealership for several years before opening up shop. I came in with a rattling/wobbling car at highway speeds and tire issues, also checking for general issues since my car’s a 2009. All was double-checked, everything I wanted fixed was done well and my car drives so smooth now. I also feel they are honest and trustworthy because not only were fixes only done as I gave permission, but I also called another garage I know to verify their ballpark prices for fixes — they were almost exactly the same as Felix Auto Service’s quote. 10/10 will go back for future care issues”

My window motor/switch had been acting funny, so I’d already planned to replace both, bust sure enough, it went kaput the day before a big rainstorm while the window was down 4”. Having just moved to the area, I wasn’t familiar with any of the auto shops so I picked the nearest one. I came in about 30 min before close so they had every right to turn me away, but instead they were willing to fix it for me and charge a very fair price (no markup for last minute / emergency service). “I brought my BMW to the shop for them to check my batteries. They informed me that one battery was dead and that they needed to replace it. The battery in question is approximately six months old. I did a little research and identified that my BMW might have a parasitic draw. When I spoke to the mechanics about this they were very accepting of my suggestion and said they would do some further testing. They did identify a draw and where it was coming from. Sadly, I had to pay for that item to be replaced, but now I expect my vehicle to run without any issues, with a new battery and a new water pump.
The staff kept me up-to-date on everything, and I really appreciated their ability to get my vehicle back to me as soon as they could. Not to mention, they were able to provide me with a loaner, which definitely helped out on any rental fees.
Recently, my girlfriend went on a trip and asked me to have her tires checked. I took her BMW to the shop and they identified a puncture and excessive treadwear. They changed the tires and got the vehicle back to her within one day.
The shop and the staff are top-notch. If you want good work done, at a good price, and if you like that mechanics are open to listening to any suggestions you might have, and act on them, then this is the one stop automotive shop for you.

So let's start with the great. Customer service ice is superb, and they live up to the "jiffy" in their name in the speed of getting you in and out.
Facility is well kept and is serviceable for the purposes it was constructed for.
Staff is superb and super friendly.
Only down sides:
It isn't cheap. Oil changes run over $100 per occasion. In all fairness, that is true everywhere. If you want a cheap oil change, do it in your driveway. For me, I don't have a flat area to do that safely, thus jiffy lube.
The exit onto the main road is awkward. If you keep your patience, you can get out ok, but don't expect it to be super easy.”
“My whole family went to Herb's almost exclusively for 20+ years. We've brought him and his guys 6 different cars with all kinds of issues over the years and they do a great job every time. The prices are good, everyone is knowledgeable, and they don't pressure you to buy stuff you don't need. I'm the last one to move out of NOVA in my family, having to leave Herb's has been a loss for all of us. I can't recommend this place enough.”

Calling to confirm my appointment and service the day before to make sure that the time and date of appointment was updated in the computer and all wanted service request were added to the appointment.
Reminding me of coupon options and helping me find the one I wanted to use so I did not have to search my phone.
Then keeping me updated as my car was being serviced and being kind and courteous from the moment I stepped on the lot. Service did not take all day they gave an accurate time estimate which was greatly appreciated and service center was not packed. I liked that there was out door seating available. And the option of a shuttle to pick up food or walk near by if needed.”
