“This is the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. It’s family-owned, and their service is always outstanding. They’re honest and transparent about any issues with your vehicle, and their prices are very fair. I’ve gotten four new tires here and always have my car serviced with them. This is the only shop I trust, and I recommend it to everyone”

“Excellence in customer service can be a rarity nowadays but at Old Ox Tire& Auto it’s luckily the norm! Josh went far above and beyond to help my family when we had a tire emergency in Arlington. He was honest, direct, knowledgeable, caring, patient and incredibly helpful! Even though this shop is a lil out of my way his integrity alone has earned my future business and patronage!”

“Jim’s Automotive is seriously a gem. Nate and Richard always go above and beyond to explain car repairs in detail. They never upsell and prices are reasonable. As a woman who knows next to nothing about cars, I know I can trust Jim’s to recommend only what’s necessary. Shoutout to the other mechanics too. So happy I found this shop!”

“I have an older vehicle that needed maintenance in order to pass the Virginia state safety inspection so I could get it registered. Metro Motors inspected my vehicle, clearly explained the services that were required, and offered a fair price, lower than what a previous repair shop had quoted me. The staff was courteous and professional throughout the process. If I ever need vehicle repairs in the future, I will definitely return.”

“Luis is an honest and straightforward man. I appreciated his help in coordinating repair for some minor road rash on my rim. I highly recommend this business for any repair to rims!”

“Very great and honest car shop. After our last oil change, between the shop and our house our tire went flat. Naturally, we thought something that happened in the shop might have caused the tire to go flat. So we called back. They told us to bring the car back in so they could help us figure out what happened to the tire. Turns out we had a leaky valve. He replaced the valve showed me what was wrong and didn’t even end up charging me. Definitely earned/kept my business!”

“I’ve been bringing my cars to Auto America for more than a decade. I’m in Cleveland Park and there are certainly closer mechanics, but there’s no one in the area I trust as much as these guys. They’re extremely thorough and knowledgeable, and when they identify an issue, they are totally transparent and honest about whether and when it actually needs addressing. Prices are fair and reasonable. I can’t recommend them enough.”

“I had put on brakes and rotors by myself and still had vibrations when braking hard and suspected a rotor problem even though they were new. I brought it to J&F to have them check if it was the rotor and they confirmed that the rotor was the issue. I was going to return the rotor to where I bought it but they said they might be able to file down the high spot so I said give it a go. The filing down improved it but did not fix it, so I said I'll just pick it up. They said it would be no charge since they said they weren't able to fix it. I said let me pay you since you spent time to diagnose and attempt to fix it and they said no, we'll see you next time - what a wonderful business experience!”

“Took my civic type r on a trip from LA to DC and stopped by Reinharts since my car threw 5 codes and I had concerns on the car. They were very honest and advised me against some maintenance I could wait on since it was in good shape after an inspection. I ended up doing some basic maintenance but will be coming back for sure when I need anything else done.”
2300 Columbia Pike, Arlington VA 22204
“Very belated review, but I stopped by here on the afternoon of June 27, 2025 after hearing noise from my tires on my way out of DC. Being from North Carolina, I could not afford to wait too long for the issue to get diagnosed and resolved. I explained my situation to Kalab, who was very gracious to expedite my repair. After spending the night in Arlington, the car was ready by 1pm the next day, and I was able to return to North Carolina by nightfall of the 28th. 10/10 would recommend for exceptional and honest service!”
1310 North Courthouse Road, Arlington VA 22201
“They did a fabulous job wrapping my cars! My first car got partial wrap here. I later wished I chose the full body wrap option. So much easier to take care of the car with a full wrap. And protects against minor scrape too. So full body was the option I chose for my next car. Looks a lot better than same model cars without a wrap. These folks also do AMAZING post-wrap customer service work. I will definitely choose them do work on my cars again.”

He has worked on everything from simple maintenance like oil changes to more complex issues like replacing a steering column. Really appreciate Joey and his team. The work, advice and trust have been excellent. Highly recommend them, and I don't highly recommend many businesses. Thank you Joey.”

“Absolutely incredible customer service and honest, fair pricing. My Prius had a minor problem that I knew was a simple fix. Koons wanted $180 just to run a “diagnostic” check plus parts and labor. The guys at cherrydale diagnosed a blown ignition fuse and I was out with an $81 bill, while it would have been well over $300+ at Koons! Very fair and honest. Highly reccomend!”

“First time at this shop as the other one across the street couldn’t take my vehicle because they were full. Turns out that was to my benefit as I was able to drop off my vehicle for inspection and oil change with no hassle. Great communication and expedient service. Dropped off my other vehicle the next day for the same services. Staff were professional and friendly. My new go to for any car needs or services.”

“I can’t recommend Nepar Auto enough. At the last minute on a Sunday, I noticed my tire was really low, almost like I had a flat, so I rushed to the closest place that was open and I’m so glad it was Nepar Auto. They took care of me right away. Turned out the tire was totally fine and it was just a freak thing, but they were thorough and quick about checking it out. The customer service and attention to detail really stood out, especially when I showed up stressed and in a pinch. If you need anything auto related, this is the place to go.”

“Sam has helped me with many car needs, including alternator replacement, AC system evaluation, used car inspections, and towing. Working with Sam is a breath of fresh air compared to working with dealerships and other repair shops. Independent and reliable car experts can be difficult to find (yet very valuable to have) — Sam is one of the very best. He gets my highest recommendation.”
