“Very kind, patient, understanding people who genuinely want the best for your animals. They have done several dental surgeries for us and many routine appointments. They are expensive but I don’t know any vet in the city who isn’t, and I plan on using them for as long as I’m here!”
“Hometown Veterinary Clinic provided exceptional care for my cat as she crossed the rainbow bridge. On Friday morning I took my 2 1/2 year old cat, Freya, to this vet and the employees there were immediately gentle and kind, taking their time with getting Freya's vitals since she was super lethargic. When her blood work came back with dire results, they were able to welcome me back a few hours later, this time with my boyfriend since he was off work by then, without an appointment so that we could say our goodbyes to her. Dr. Sarcon took care of Freya for both appointments and I couldn't have asked for anyone better, as she was so understanding with how devastated my boyfriend and I were over losing our cat at such a young age. The vet techs were also amazing, especially the one who was there when we put Freya to sleep. She explained that she was the one to trim a piece of fur as a keepsake and made sure to keep note of which section we wanted trimmed. Although we lost our beloved girl that day, I can't thank Hometown enough for their exceptional care.”

“We started taking our cats to District about a year ago, and could not be happier. Everyone is great, from the front desk to the techs to the veterinarians. I think the best is the level of communication we get - actual emails explaining what the possible issues are, treatment options, etc. It really helps when you need to discuss options with your partner if you don't have to try and remember what someone explained to you.

“I cannot find the right words to express what this clinic means to me and my beloved pets. If you have a moment, I’d like to share my story:
In July 2025, my 6-year-old cat, Joey, was rushed to emergency due to a urinary blockage. After a week of uncertainty and a recurring blockage, I found the team at Lynn Clinic. From the start, they truly understood my situation and the deep anxiety I felt for my baby. They did everything humanly possible for him, and I truly felt we were in the best hands. The doctors and assistants don't just treat patients; they stand by you and share in your pain. Sadly, my furry baby passed away on August 28, 2025.
Recently, our family welcomed a beautiful Shih Tzu puppy named Manchas. Without a second thought, I brought him here. I know this is a team of professionals who lead with humanity and a genuine love for animals. Believe me, you won’t want to take your pets anywhere else.”

She took her time answering my questions and clearly explained the vaccines and pricing without ever making me feel rushed. The staff was also amazing and very professional. “My cat BG is, let’s say “spicy”. She is the quintessential scary cat who runs and hide if she hears a doorbell or a stranger’s voice. Yet, she turns into “demon cat” at the vet. Thus, we avoid the vet unless it is absolutely necessary.
Today was our first visit and I am impressed. She meowed all the way there but once at the clinic- she “calmed” down. She did hiss at the vet and we needed at vet tech to help BUT, she did not require sedation, the staff was extra kind to her, and she did not draw blood.
As a cat parent, I couldn’t be more excited to finally find a vet clinic that is not afraid her.

“On Nov 11, I took my male cat in for urinary issues and they immediately took him back to check for a blockage, before I even had any paper work filled out.
Thankfully, he wasn't blocked. I knew if he wasn't blocked, and therefore not emergent, it would take awhile. I'm fine with waiting at ER's, understanding the most critical are priority.
Dr Drum was wonderful. She took the time to explain everything and answer any questions.
Salem is a sweet boy, but he is a former feral who doesn't handle car rides, vet visits, or receiving medication very well. Dr Drum has been amazingly helpful and responsive via email as we continue to monitor Salem and discuss options to proceed if necessary. She has also provided me with a wealth of information, and has been incredibly understanding of this overwhelmed cat mom.
The front desk staff and vet tech were all very kind and helpful.
Thank you to everyone for making sure my boy was okay so quickly.”

“We take our dog and cat to this vet and have always had positive experiences! The vets are friendly and explain things thoroughly when needed. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The vet techs seem to really care about the animals. Overall, they are also upfront about pricing and costs.
Our dog fights really hard when it's time for shots or a nail trim, but the staff here is patient and helpful when he is being a wild man. Special shout out to Mimi who was so kind and thoughtful when helping give our dog his shots and care. She definitely helped keep him as calm as possible to minimize stress.”
“I have been coming to board my animals for the past 3 years. I can say there has been so much improvement! The kennel manager Joey I believe is his name always assures that my pets are taking care of. Don’t let the comment below of him being rude discourage you from coming to this amazing establishment. I will be reporting the comment about Joey being rude, he is always helpful to me and I have seen him go as far to checking in my appointments and checking me out in the room since my animals are dog reactive. The front desk is also so helpful and doctors they’re just very lovely people. I always recommend Dr.Tobar since he is bilingual and my family mostly speaks Spanish very easy on us.”

“Falls Road Veterinary Hospital is EXTRAORDINARY! I do not live in Maryland. I spent several months in the area, and my elderly Shitzu needed vaccinations. They knew I lived in AZ and would not be a regular customer. Dr. Forbes was concerned about the size of my dog's nipples. I had asked my LA vet and my vet in Seattle about why they were enlarged. Dr. Forbes did not dismiss this condition. Dr. Forbes, who knew she probably wouldn't see my dog again, said this wasn't normal, and she wasn't satisfied not knowing what was happening. She wanted to research what this could be, and then she emailed me with three possible reasons. I am impressed. She truly cared about my dog. The front office team is pleasant, professional, and welcoming. I strongly recommend Falls Road Vet. I would give Dr. Forbes 10 stars if I could.”

“I moved to Hyattsville Animal Hospital when my previous vet (of 15 years) just went downhill and a lot of trust was lost. My pet sitter highly recommended Dr. K so I made an appointment and never looked back. This is a terrific hospital from the front office and back office staff to the care. Dr. K is wonderful with all my littles (2 of my own) - I started fostering a little one and she goes there now, too. Their costs are the best in the area hands down. The facility is not flashy but it's nice and it's the care that matters and parking is not an issue ever. As long as they are there - all my littles will be their patients.”
“I've been bringing my two (now three) Rhodesian Ridgebacks here for several years. Our first visit was pretty dramatic - one of my pups went headfirst through a sliding glass door, and we came into the waiting room near closing time with a large bloody dog with a lot of lacerations.
Dr. Jason Scott provided excellent care for our pup, and has been our go to vet for the past 5+ years for all three of our dogs (as well as the many Ridgebacks I foster). His advice is solid, pragmatic, and compassionate. Highly recommended.”
