212 N Main St, GordonsvilleFirst timers here and we did a take out order. We were about 20 minutes away and our food was still very tasty and hot when we got back to the resort. Had fried chicken & it was juicy and tender. Our sides were Mac & cheese and smashed potatoes. Asked for a side of chicken gravy for the potatoes and it was delicious. We were dipping everything in the gravy!!!! The apple butter they gave us tasted like the kind families used to make decades ago. We are in the area a few more days and are planning to eat there again.

102 Martinsburg Ave, GordonsvilleExcellent lunch on 12/3 at the BBQ Exchange. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Restaurant dining room all decked out for Christmas. Food was delicious. I had the 3 meat platter (brisket, ribs and pulled pork) with potato salad and macaroni salad and a roll. Paid extra for a side of hush puppies and onion rings. The brisket was the "star" for me...melt in your mouth tender. Lots of sauces available at the table. Everyone in our party raved about how good the food was. Other sides tried: cole slaw, greens and fries and baked beans. Favorites were the hush puppies and onion rings and greens. \n\nYou place your order at the counter and then get your food (or they bring it to you if it requires special prep). Pick your seat and enjoy! Very clean restrooms too. Would highly recommend and will be stopping in again.
