10426 Ridgefield Pkwy, HenricoStill being new to RVA I researched and found this amazing business. My 15 yr old mainecoon needed to be groomed because of some significant matting. When i called, the front desk made a same day appt for us. We arrived to be greeted super kindly. But what happened next is the stuff miracles are made of. Until now I have never found anyone who could groom my boy without sedation. These groomers knew exactly how to handle my old cat. They worked quickly but so carefully. This was by no means an easy job. But my cat seemed to trust them instantly..they worked hard for almost an hour. And their price was totally reasonable. If anything , i owe them more$. Thank you for breathing life into my old kitty. He came out looking so much better. I am so grateful to both techs who did such precision work to remove the matting. And they even gave him a little sweater.
5 stars.

This place is good and professional. My experience has always been that the staff are open to working with you as long as you are respectful and not demeaning the staff, and as long as what is being asked is reasonable.

Our pup did great in puppy classes, but when he started exhibiting unwanted behaviors during basic training classes, we worked with Kasey 1:1 and couldn’t be more thankful for her help. We’ve learned the obedience, but the biggest help has been learning to shape his behavior and mindset to be a calmer and more secure dog. He would not be flourishing now without her help.
I also appreciate the flexibility in making up classes if you miss one, the experiences with play groups and pack walks, and always being approachable and accessible for questions. The team’s passion is unmatched. 10/10, highly recommend.

4035 Whittall Way, HenricoBartizan Events Venue was the perfect choice for my mother's 80th birthday party this weekend. The entire experience was outstanding, thanks to the venue's wonderful staff. From our very first meeting, they were professional, accommodating, and made the planning process a joy.
On the day of the event (August 9, 2025), the staff was incredibly attentive, and they went above and beyond to make the day magical for my mother. Guests were blown away by the food, and I've received countless compliments. One cousin even asked me if I thought she could get the recipe for the chicken!
The venue is conveniently located in Glen Allen with easy access to street parking and free public garages. I'm honestly a little sad the party is over because I loved working with Rachel and the team so much. I'm already looking for another excuse to host an event there. Bartizan is a definite five-star, full-service venue that I would recommend for any special occasion.

There are definitely authentic qualities to the empanadas (the pastry dough is spot on Argentinian), but I just wish there were more authentic filling flavor offerings. Other than that, I'm really happy there's an empanada place serving the community here.

10612 Patterson Ave, HenricoWaygone is my favorite brewery in the west end. I’m always greeted by name with a smile when I walk in and feel welcomed. This is also a go-to for my husband and I if we are getting together with friends who have kids. They have lots of toys and a side room area for playing. My favorite drinks are Bluey and the rosé wine. I also love playing darts. My dad (who can be picky about beer) lives down the road and now comes in here weekly too to pick up to-go cans. 10/10 spot!

3621 Cox Rd, Henricoi had a craving for a good bagel so i stopped by and though lox and capers with cream cheese and onion was perfect but i wasnt sure on the bagel, the girl up front suggested the salt bagel. That was a perfect suggestion, ive been thinking about that bagel all day since i ate it if you want a good bagel and good service you gotta come here!

3950 Westerre Pkwy, HenricoWe stayed here last minute one night. Check in was easy. The lobby was open and clean. Our room was fine and I liked the balcony! There is an indoor pool but no hot tub. The staff was friendly during my stay. The shower was cold is my only complaint. I let it run more than 5 minutes to see if that would help and ended up just having to jump in and shiver. It never got beyond lukewarm. There is no free breakfast but there was complimentary coffee and some nearby breakfast restaurants. It seemed safe to park outside the hotel. Overall a good choice for hotel except the cold shower.
