There is a certain charm at the H&G that simply cannot be replicated. The owners, Dudley and Peggy Patterson are dear friends and as long as I have reason to be in the glorious Northern Neck of Virginia I will always visit the Hope and Glory!

65 Tavern Rd, IrvingtonWhat a special place the Hope and Glory. Our fine dining experience was lovely… sensitively presented and the chef followed through with all of the promises described. With time and experience, I appreciate consistency more and more. Achieving that level of tenderness with a steak, the delicate balance of herb to sweet and savory, and a dash of originality, along with a local specialty - the oysters- all components of a great meal that I will remember for years to come. Bravo!
