“Came back from the east coast of Virginia and stopped here to get gas for the trip home. It just a bit out of emporia, much less expensive than the stations in emporia, $2.99 in town it was $3.29 if not more.”
“On the smaller side but the store still has everything you need. The gas is always reasonably priced and I usually travel across town to fill up because of the low cost.The staff is super friendly and helpful as well.They also sell several tobacco products and sprays.This little store packs a punch.”

They have a really good porkchop sandwich, casserole dishes, potatoe wedges, corn fogs, fried chicken, and other good foods daily! Quick and easy access to I-95 and US301. Gasoline and road diesel available. Located on Virginia Route 40. Credit cards , debit cards, and cash accepted. Cigarettes and lottery available. Cold sodas, beer, and hot coffee available.”

“I gave 5 stars for the food and a couple of employees. A few employees are just straight up rude. The store isn't as clean as it could be, and the cashier they just hired needs to learn how to count. They NEVER answer the phone either.”

“The North Main Slip-In had the cheapest gas in Emporia today, especially when you can take off the extra 3 cents per gallon due to their membership in the Fuel Rewards program. Yes, they're offering Shell products. They are a very short block off US-58 and a good 25 cents cheaper than any of those other stations that are close to the intersection with I-95. Well worth going a short bit out of your way if you're planning 10 or more gallons in your car. The pump area is covered which is useful in inclement weather. There is also a convenience store but I did not visit it. [Review 11946 overall, 1728 of 2019.]”
“Very friendly service and the kitchen is back open! They cook some really good food! Two of my favorites are the pork chop sandwich and the brown or red sausages. The food prices are good too! There's room for trucks to get in and around the building too.”

“I am so glad we stopped here. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. The lady working the chicken counter had the most pleasant demeanor. She definitely used that southern charm. We ordered the chicken livers, tenders and Cornbread. Everything was delicious but I can't stop thinking about the Cornbread. Thank your for being so nice to our family.”

“I travel a lot and stop here whenever I'm in the area. Awesome Soft Serve Ice Cream. 9 different flavors. Great milk shakes and Razzles too! The management here is top notch. They really care about their customers and keep a very, very clean store.”
“I visit this CVS store regularly, though not the pharmacy. They always have a good selection of products, and some that you can't find elsewhere. Today during my visit, Dorothy was working the front part of the store. She is always super friendly and helpful, and is always professional at the same time. I prefer to use a cashier as compared to a self checkout, and if she is working, she's always willing to oblige me, This is a clean, well organized store in a safe location. Sign up for CVS Extra Bucks rewards, and you'll get coupons each week that you can use towards your purchase. I recommend this store to others, whether local or passing through.”

“Great pit stop very easy on-off from 95! Nice, clean restrooms, large selection of items in the convenience store. However, the real 5 star review is for Granny's Fried Chicken and the Mac 'n Cheese side! If you take some in the car see how long before you open the box because the aroma is fabulous. Very friendly staff. Glad we needed gas right around lunchtime and stopped there.”
