39710 Rocky Ln, LovettsvilleThis place is amazing. We dropped off our dog-reactive pup, Donnie, and he had a wonderful time! The facility is very large and laid out well with a very large, 100yard indoor recreation area for the dogs. They are very accommodating for dogs with all needs and offer individual care for dogs like ours who have anxiety and are reactive toward other dogs. They are also very accommodating for nervous dog parents who want updates while their dogs are at boarding. VIP was quick and thorough with their email responses to our check-ins and even provided pictures! We would also recommend the added bath service at the end of your dog’s stay. At pick up, they even provided a First Time Evaluation Report on Donnie.
The pricing was very reasonable, at $60 a day (the large dog price) with an additional $25 a day for the individual care (for Donnie, he got private ball playing time and nighttime cuddles for his activities). There was an additional $6 a day seasonal fee as well. The added bath was $60.
We will definitely bring Donnie back!

40431 Featherbed Ln, Lovettsville5/2015- My OTTB whacked her face on an overhead beam (thinking she reared up bc of a bee) and broke a bone in her face. We tried on-farm treatment with our local vet, to no avail. Took her to Spurlock where they removed the floating bone, inserted a piece of medical plastic to seal the sinus puncture she made and stapled her up. VERY reasonably priced, VERY KIND STAFF. Would recommend 100%!

They also offer other services like nail clipping, bathing, etc. They will provide food, but I'm not sure if they charge you for that. We always bring our own because of food allergies. There is a vet on premise 24 hours. They raised their prices, which is now $70 a day. Overall, it's a great place to board your dog.

Every time we go my family and I feel there’s a lot left to be desired. The house itself is super cute and the young kids who work there are usuallyyy very friendly. I just wish they’d offer a couple more craft or healthy options. What they have comes off a bit fast food than craft coffee shop (Torani syrups, bottled fruit purees for smoothies - so bad for you, microwaved premade / pre assembled food, no actually healthy or GF options). The vibe of the shop is a little cold, too.. I’d love to go do work there but the sitting area doesn’t fully hit the *cozy* coffee shop ambiance that they’re trying to do. It’s so close to being cozy it’s just missing the mark as-is. A bit dark and cold and cluttered. Maximalism is an art! A little more attention to detail and creativity would level this place up!! Maybe a couple homemade syrups, real fruit in the smoothies, fresh ingredients, training on correct craft barista skills, nitro cold brew, declutter the layout, warmer lighting in the back, funky art, etc, etc. Just a couple suggestions from a coffee shop snob / retired barista that wants to spend money here :)
