“I went in looking for a ballgown for an event. The sales clerk was absolutely fabulous, even removing two gowns off of mannequins for me to try on. I fell in love with the first one, and she gave me her honest opinion with each dress I tried; the first one was her favorite. I stepped away for a bit to see if there was anything else I liked, but after an hour of still thinking about the gown, I went back and got it. The sales clerk was extremely friendly and, when I left for a break, she did not try to pressure me into anything, which I REALLY appreciated. I definitely recommend Chaliskan for the quality of their products and the superior shopping experience provided by their clerks.”

“My wife and I first discovered this store last year while exploring the Galleria at Tysons, and what a gem it is. The clothing—boho-chic and vintage-inspired—manages to be both playfully unique and elegantly refined, without ever feeling stuffy or pretentious. The colors, styles, and quality all exude a certain panache that makes the whole place feel special.
Beyond the clothing, the fragrances and accessories are equally delightful. We’re especially fond of the Amber Woods scent—it’s become a favorite.
However, the heart of our great experiences here has been the people, especially Joseph. On both of our visits, he and his associate (whose name I unfortunately can’t recall) went above and beyond. Joseph isn’t just skilled at showcasing Johnny Was apparel—he makes you truly appreciate the joyful experience the store has created. That rare blend of professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion makes him a standout sales associate, and his colleague was equally wonderful.

“I went to J Crew yesterday (Saturday) and had the best experience with sales person name Flor she is the absolute best. She styled me and gave me so many tips on fashion and what works for my body height. She is the sweetest person and I had amazing time.. so amazing I was there for an hour. “I had such a great experience at Madewell this past weekend thanks to their associate Skylar. After having a baby it has been really tough to find jeans that make me feel good. Most of the other stores I went into recently left me feeling discouraged and sad, but Skylar completely turned that around.
I feel like she really took the time to listen and helped me find the perfect pair of jeans for my body. She was not just trying to sell me something to make her quota. She genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable and confident. For the first time in a long time I left a store feeling good about myself and how I looked.
If you are shopping for jeans, ask for Skylar. She will make the experience so much better.”

“Shopped there mainly when they were in Rosslyn, then rediscovered them when walking along Wilson Blvd. Past few weeks, I hadn't noticed the sign, and was wondering what happened to them. Glad to see that they have resurfaced in McLean. The sales staff was always so kind, and patient (there used to be a tall, slim lady, who worked Saturday's, in Rosslyn--she was a gem!), and in edition to beautiful clothing, the jewelry selection was unique. Will have to stop by the new location.”

“Although online shopping has become even more convenient and you can probably get the same thing (if not more selection) faster online, my focus on this review is about the excellent and welcoming service I received at the Nordstrom at the Fashion Galleria. Ginger helped me pick out and try different skirts, walking around the floor. They also helped me with some last-minute tailoring as well. Be aware that parking can be tough- it can be a long walk as the lots are often full.”

They had a great selection of new items up front and a huge clearance section since several lines just got marked down recently and were an additional 40% off. When I couldn't find the size I needed the sales person (Vanessa) made some calls and found me exactly what I wanted at another store and had it sent it right to my house. J.Jill's catalog customer service won't even search store locations for product any more, but this store did so efficiently and in a super friendly manner. Would go back in a heartbeat. As with any luxury brand, the prices are very high. I ended up looking at the wallets and bracelets and bought a bracelet. At checkout, I was offered a sparkling water by Patricia.
