Goodstone Inn & Restaurant
36205 Snake Hill Rd, MiddleburgMy boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at the Goodstone. All of the staff were lovely and welcoming, and were there in a moments notice if we had questions or needed help. The grounds and amenities are gorgeous, the breakfast and dinners were delicious, and our Carlyle Jr. Suite was both spacious and cozy. The downtown of Middleburg is also only about a 5 minute drive away with everything you’d ever need… dining, cocktails, shopping, convenience. We will definitely keep this location in our back pockets the next time we are needing a luxurious break away into the countryside!

118 W Washington St, MiddleburgSat outside on a beautiful sunny cool day. Got the buffalo chicken wrap with side salad. Very fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly (except appeared to be harried). Prices were reasonable especially given the location. We left to walk around the shops and came back for a coffee and piece of carrot cake. Yummy!

The Bistro at Goodstone Inn
36205 Snake Hill Rd, MiddleburgMy daughter and I ate at Goodstone for the first time for lunch and were the only table beside one other. We had read some other bad reviews, but often find that it pays to find out for yourself. Most of the bad reviews were due to understaffing. We had the most outstanding lunch - she having the salmon and I had the full salad. We both had different desserts and shared = I had Creme Brulee and she had chocolate mousse. We were there for two hours, the waitress was so helpful in explaining the layout of the Inn, and we certainly hope to go back! The venue is breathtaking! Can't wait to go in the summer when the days are longer; but it was nice to be there on a cold day when the fireplaces are going and the glass ceilings and walls are so romantically reflected. I would encourage everyone to try Goodstone and perhaps make a shopping trip into Middleburg. Such a beautiful area and town. But please don't pay the reviews any mind. The food was so delicious, a lot of the vegetables being grown there. The drinks are created there, and are delicious, too. Everything was superb!
