“I hate visiting the "big box" home stores like Home Depot and Lowe's. Don't get me wrong, they have great stuff. I just don't like the crowds and the parking. This is why I like to shop at Pleasants Hardware (I go to both the Midlothian and Powhatan locations). The aisles are easily marked so everything is easy to find, and if not, sales associates are always more than willing to help and give advice. What's really nice, the prices are low...no big overhead, no Tv commercials to pay for, no big buildings to cool or heat...and there is always plenty of parking right in front of their stores! I love the "Mom and Pop" store feel of Pleasants Hardware.”

“Brandon came in to fix what was supposed to be a simple outlet fix..until it turned out to be not so simple. but he did absolutely everything he could to figure out what was wrong and finally he found the cut wire and replaced it! he even cleaned up the dust from removing the outlet which was unnecessary but appreciated so much, one less thing for me to clean! he was so kind, and explained everything to me and didn’t treat me like a dumb girl who didn’t know anything at all and that made me beyond happy! especially since that’s how most people treat me. i would 100000% recommend Brandon to anyone who needs electrical work done! or any other work if he does it!”
