“Extremely helpful and likable staff. The gentleman who is at the cashier stand when I walked in was both pleasant, pardon the pun, and positive. The manager, Sierra, who is at the back of the store was equally if not more positive and pleasant. Not only did she assist me with locating an item but also assisted me with finding the exact items I needed from the available selection, allowed me to use their measuring tools to confirm I was obtaining the correct item, and did all of this in a way that made me feel extremely welcomed and valued as a customer. I cannot speak highly enough about this experience and additionally all experiences previous were also very very good. If they had as wide of a selection as the big box store down the road, I would be shopping at pleasants exclusively just for the customer service.”

“The staff was great. I brought in an EGO battery operated weed wacker from home. They told me to bring it in even though they did not sell this particular weed wacker. As a novice to weed whacking, the staff showed me how to take the string trimmer apart and which trimmer string to buy. They also showed me how the weed wacker should be re-strung and directed me to a you tube video for specifics. After watching the video at home, I was able to re-string my weed wacker and start trimming my yard that afternoon. They didn’t have to do this. The staff is just genuinely kind and knowledgeable enough to help people out, unlike the help I’ve found at Home Depot and Lowe’s.”
“I recently picked up a few tools from Northern Tool, and overall, it’s a pretty solid store for anyone looking for quality equipment. They have a good selection of tools and supplies, and I was able to find what I needed without too much trouble. The products themselves seem reliable and reasonably priced, which is always a plus.
The store is generally well-organized, making it easy to browse different sections and compare options. It’s clear they carry a wide range of items for both professionals and everyday DIY projects, which makes it a convenient place to shop.
That said, one downside I’ve noticed is that the store often seems understaffed. It can sometimes take a while to find someone available to help or answer questions, especially during busier times. Additionally, their hours aren’t the most convenient—they tend to close earlier than expected, which can be frustrating if you’re trying to stop by after work.
Despite those minor issues, my overall experience has been positive. The quality of their products and the variety they offer make it worth the visit. With a bit more staffing and extended hours, this place could easily be even better. I’d still recommend it for anyone needing dependable tools.”

My husband and I visited this location on the way home (Raleigh, NC) from DC, and Catherine was so knowledgeable and helpful that we have been in constant communication with her ever since. She has been patient with us as we waited for our house to sell, and we have had many phone and e-mail discussions about different furniture options for our new home. She even overnighted us many fabric options for the sofa, armchair, and bed that we chose! We finally placed our order, and she made the entire process seamless! I appreciate her attention to detail, and prompt communication. RH furniture is beautiful and high quality, but it’s the great customer service that really sets this interior design company apart from others. Additionally, we greatly appreciate the ability to push out deliveries by up to 90 days, as well as the one-time delivery fee per order, and the true “white glove” delivery experience. “Everybody knows Louis has everything at least for construction they have a lot more nuts and bolts and stuff then Home Depot does Home Depot is better for plumbing Lowe's is better for lawn mower parts and I think appliances but you couldn't get anything done if it wasn't for a Lowe's or Home Depot it's just the way it is but you've always been considerate they've always been very helpful and where else you going to go to get that kind of lumber but that's just my opinion”
“Friday afternoon at 3pm—I was in desperate need of help identifying new conveyor chains for a machine in our manufacturing plant, and came to Grainger because I was in need of help identifiying the most accurate replacement parts. I am new to my industry and only had a few clues to guide me. Tiana sat right down to her computer and got swiftly to work helping me in my search. We spent nearly 45 minutes comparing my photos to their stock and identifying the appropriate chain links. Tiana was so kind and patient with me, and worked with me to find items that would be available for pickup by Monday. I didn't get a chance to check my delivery until a few days later and noticed it was missing the plywood I ordered - I called in the morning and they delivered it same day! I'll be buying from them again.”
