Mr. Chris Stevey would make a great manager at any of Habitat's locations including the one in Newport News, Virginia. He really deserves a bonus award every year. He makes this store look exceptional in regards to service.”

“I have not been in a Dollar General in over 25 years, and when I visited this Dollar General I was astonished at how much it has improved and the much greater variety of products it now sells. The place is jammed and packed with lots of different products, so much that it's like a mini-Walmart of sorts. For its size, they have a great variety of foods and beverages, cleaning products, housewares, tools, hygiene and medical supplies, personal care items, batteries, electronic devices; kids playthings, clothing, diapers, formulas, and toys; kitchenware, and other stuff. The place was organized, clean, and the staff were courteous, friendly, and professional. They also have a FedEx pickup, where you can drop off packages here to be picked up by FedEx later, and they will give you a receipt for dropping such off. The parking lot is fairly large and has plenty of space. All in all, this place is great and surprisingly has a lot of stuff at good prices. I would strongly recommend visiting this place just to browse through the place and see the huge variety of stuff they sell and their low prices on such. Doing so will put Dollar General on your map as a place you can go for a lot of stuff at good prices, and will probably pleasantly surprise you and change your view of the store chain and franchise.”

“Very busy on Saturday, but you can get some great things at a crazy cheap price. I was able to pickup a pack of 20 15Amp outlets with covers for only $7. The exact same pack runs about $39 at hardware stores.”
