“Clean store,and lots of items available for purchase. The U-boats weren't blocking items like they are in other stores, and it didn't look trashy. They had a good selection of Rock Star drinks and the freezers are well stocked.”

“General store for quick trips. This is one of the better looking stores,looking neat and organized. The prices have steadily increased over the years, but it's still a good place to shop.The staff is helpful and polite.They're usually stocked with the items I need but I have noticed cutbacks on sizes with increases in prices.The sales and bounceback coupons help a lot.
I have noticed that the clothing selection has changed- not too many new styles.

“NO FROZEN FOODS. They shelves are BARE 5/17/25. There is plenty of parking and the store has a good selection of items - sometimes. If this store is weak on selections, your best Dollar Tree is going to be the one on Little Creek Rd. The 2nd to Little Creek is Ocean View at Granby. A lot of Dollar Tree stores can't carry frozen foods due to a large grocery store being in the same strip mall, and that puts Dollar Tree in competition with the grocery store which is an anchor store to that strip mall. An example is the Dollar Tree at Southern Shopping Center.”

“To the General Manager... The guy closing the store on August 2 2023 deserves a raise. Today is my second day in Virginia and i had to buy something extremely important to me and i thought you guys closed at 10. I got there and the guy met me at the door and asked me if i wanted to come in and he said "one minute' meaning he was willing to let me get what i needed before he closed. No other store or employee in my 44 years of life has done anything like this. going above and beyond to do his job and still have a great attitude about his job and towards custmers he dont even know. So, yes, This employee you have right now deserves recognition and im not talking about a simple thank you for being a Dollar General family member or a pizza party... He deserves a raise. Employees this good are seriously and extremely hard to find and you should let him know how thankful you are for having him on board.”
“Tons and tons of odds and ends for the home. They even carry some dairy goods like cheese/cold cuts and milk. Home goods like candles and holiday decorations as well!”

“This a such a conveniently placed Family Dollar. It sits in a fairly quiet neighborhood in Oceanview. Shelves are always stocked and store is clean most of the time. It is an old building and nothing fancy.”
“Went searching for the cheap tennis shoes they used to carry. Black uppers with a black rubber sole for $12. None of the Family Dollar stores carry them anymore. They have a cheap tennis shoe that has a plastic sole that is slippery, especially on wet tile, or for going on a roof to clean it off. I went to 4 Family Dollar stores, and all they have are the slippery shoes or sandals. Check Walmart for a $15 tennis shoe cause no one else has any. The Shoe Department at Southern Shopping Center has overpriced tennis shoes, starting at about $45. Too high.”

“Danielle and Von were SO helpful to me when I came in looking for some items and was in a hurry. They were absolutely fantastic, kind, professional, and as friendly as can be! I also noticed that the store was IMMACULATELY clean! It seem like all the other ones are cluttered and not that clean, but every time I come to this store, everything is put away properly on the shelves, and it’s just simply always immaculately clean! 5 stars!”
“Omg! This place has taken on a total remodel and it looks great! I couldn't believe the cleanliness and neatness of this place. The last time I came here was few years ago and it was PITIFUL, FILTHY, DIRTY, RUN DOWN AND GHETTO! I refused to return here due to the state it was in. This is a major improvement considering the area it's located in. Unfortunately,there is always that one worker who still shows GHETTO mentality and is PITIFUL/SLOW on the register!”
“I'm quite happy with this, my local Dollar Tree. I come here every couple weeks to get bleach as it is a better price than what I would find elsewhere. I generally pick up quite a few other staples as well. My only complaint is that they do not do a good job of separating and labeling the $5 items from the rest of the $1.25 items. Those items should be in a completely different area all on their own.”

“Is stop caring perfumes and body sprays and hygiene products really disappointed us poor people need that stuff too and now it's gone anyway but I love the Dollar Tree oh and the paper plates to styrofoam so you got to get two packs of them for what you paid for one pack you guys are making everything smaller anyway so I'll go there like I continue to do but for other things I'll go to like Dollar General or I can still get my plates for the same price for 30 of them for the same price instead of 20 of them”
“Prices have steadily increased. Most cleaning products are priced higher than $1.25,but overall it's still a good place to shop.Just read the labels because a lot of the food products are fake foods, meaning they contain filler junk ingredients.”
“7/25/21: I stopped by to pick up a few things. I've never been to this location before. There is a small parking lot & it's off of a busy street. The store was somewhat tidy & clean, but there were boxes everywhere which made it hard to maneuver with a rolling shopping cart. They had everything you could want almost. They didn't have a lot of the candy I was looking for. They have a frozen food section, refrigerated section, snacks, home goods, etc. The prices are decent as well. The cashier was ok. He wasn't the friendliest but wasn't mean either. He was the only staff member I saw in there the entire time. I was in and out with my things & on my way. I would definitely go back.”
“Grabbed some Banquet pot pies for only $1 each. Same ones found at Dollar Tree and Family Dollar for $1.25-$1.50. Why give that extra quarter to another store for the same product. Basically, I can get 5 pot pies at Dollar General or 4 at Dollar Tree for the same money.”
“Well stocked. More than I can say for a few other Family Dollar locations. Whenever I go there's never much of a line and it moves fast. This could just be coincidental whereas it is also possible for some else to have the opposite experience which as well could be simple chance of coincidence, but this is only my review...”
