“To the General Manager... The guy closing the store on August 2 2023 deserves a raise. Today is my second day in Virginia and i had to buy something extremely important to me and i thought you guys closed at 10. I got there and the guy met me at the door and asked me if i wanted to come in and he said "one minute' meaning he was willing to let me get what i needed before he closed. No other store or employee in my 44 years of life has done anything like this. going above and beyond to do his job and still have a great attitude about his job and towards custmers he dont even know. So, yes, This employee you have right now deserves recognition and im not talking about a simple thank you for being a Dollar General family member or a pizza party... He deserves a raise. Employees this good are seriously and extremely hard to find and you should let him know how thankful you are for having him on board.”
“I have been to Family Dollar located at 2010 Cromwell Road in the heart of Norfolk on several occasions. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The store is clean and well organized. They have a great selection of items for sale and the staff can be counted upon to answer any questions that you might have and they will offer suggestions if you are on the fence about which products will work best for your individual needs. If you are looking for value priced goods (and who isn't in this day and age) stop by Family Dollar, you will be happy that you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting local business!”

Food court with Burger King, Panda, Canes, etc. Uniform store on the second floor typically stocked with alterations and cleaning services available. CAC office available on second floor — recommend appointments rather than walk in.”

Loved my Days off to Virgina Beach.Almost was gonna accept a position on the Virgina State Police. But decided to come home Boston. Is the Base still open??? “Is stop caring perfumes and body sprays and hygiene products really disappointed us poor people need that stuff too and now it's gone anyway but I love the Dollar Tree oh and the paper plates to styrofoam so you got to get two packs of them for what you paid for one pack you guys are making everything smaller anyway so I'll go there like I continue to do but for other things I'll go to like Dollar General or I can still get my plates for the same price for 30 of them for the same price instead of 20 of them”

“The store is nice. Easy setup. Solid customer service. Except don't bother trying to call to ask any questions or get an order update because NOBODY answers the phone. The automated system will send you where you need to go eventually but then you'll sit on hold for eternity. We shouldn't have to drive to the store to get an order update for an order we placed in-store.Fix your system there Lowes. This is incredibly frustrating.”
“Great store, great staff! Remodeled and is clean with wider rows. It was a little up and down when they first opened but WOW has it changed. It reminds me of a while back when the teller at the bank knew your name. I get that type of service when I go to the pharmacy and they do seem to have great employees that are there to help if you need anything.”
“I enjoy Target and generally my trips are pleasant. I went to target yesterday and was trying to find an item within the Beauty section. I asked three associates standing together where I could find a particular item. One of them shared with me some numbers. Now, if you go in the beauty area, you know the numbering is fainted and hard to find. I walked around a few times until I found the item. It would have been helpful to receive directions to find the aisle. Other than that, I love target and I'm a frequent shopper.”
“Great place to shop. Staff always greets you when you walk in. Food selection is huge! Things I thought I wouldn't be able to find or couldn't find in the grocery, were in the grocery store. And the the Home items are of good quality, and i always get compliments on them. Every day is a dollar day at the Dollar General store.”

“I am not a big of grocery shopping - So I decided to try out the online pick up grocery method. I downloaded the app and selected every item that I wanted and paid for it and selected a pick up time with the given options. The options were all in hour increments. I picked the 6-7 time frame. I received an email stating that my order was ready for pick up at 5:48. They also messaged me letting me know that one of the items that I selected was not in stock and it let me choose my own subsitution for it right away. I arrived and checked in and my order was out within 5-10 minutes.I will be using the online pick up method for grocery shopping moving forward.**Also, the pick up is free as long as your order is $35+”

The staff are wonderful, and one in particular is one of the best staff they have, I would address her by her last name with Ms. preceding her last name if I knew it. It is so rare for a walmart associate to earn my most sincere respect in that manner.”
“Walmart+ is a great new program that offers free delivery by store personnel, free shipping & much more. Many times the shipment items are the next day by WalMart personnel. But I learned quickly that with on oncoming Tropical Storm there might be a need for more. When Ophelia became a threat to our area my Brother in Mississippi recommended a small propane burner to heat coffee & such should I lose power. He knew the importance of my coffee. As I spoke to him on the phone the closest WalMart had both the burner & propane tanks available for delivery the next day. By the time I got off the phone & placed the order, they were both out of stock. The burner was possible for next day shipping. But the propane couldn't be shipped. And that store was completely out. I finally found a six pack of the propane at this store. It's not much further from my house if you take Northampton Boulevard to Kempsville Road & enter via Lowery Road, completely avoiding Military Highway. But they were no longer delivering. I had to do Store Pickup the next day beginning at 11am. It was a tight window. There was a Rheumatologist appointment, which it looked like they weren't going to cancel, scheduled that same day. The next morning I got up early determined to be at the store exactly at 11am. But a check of the order on their App showed the product ready for pickup. I left immediately. The Store Pickup location for this store is conveniently located immediately to the left of where I entered via Lowery Road. It's clean & isolated from the remainder of the store parking. I pulled into a numbered spot. On the App you notify the store of your arrival & parking spot. In a short period of time a friendly young man came out with my order and secured the package in my vehicle. I left with enough time to actually eat before my doctor's appointment. My stress level was lowered considerably, I would highly recommend this store for either Delivery or Store Pickup. I don't do In store shopping anymore. So I can't speak to that experience.”

“TJ Maxx and Marshalls have always been a good place to run in and grab discounted out of season clothes, toys, electronics, etc.I give it a four star because the selection has definitely went down. There are definitely a lot of clothes in there, but most of the clothes that are in there are duplicates and a lot of the same types of clothes. I guess if you really want to get something you have to go on a day that they have a shipment in so you can check to see if there's something good that you want.Other than that the customer service is speedy when you're checking out, they are on top of things in your out from the register within five minutes even if there's a long line.”
