Food Lion is a well-regarded grocery store that consistently receives positive reviews from its customers. The store is described as clean, spacious, and well-stocked, with a wide variety of relevant food items. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, particularly the cashiers and self-checkout attendants, who provide a pleasant shopping experience.
The store's rotisserie chicken is a standout, with one customer praising it as "amazeballs" and suggesting that the chicken preparation at other locations could be improved by learning from the Food Lion staff. However, the store has faced some criticism regarding its handling of EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card usage, with allegations of unethical practices to discourage its use.
Overall, Food Lion appears to be a reliable and customer-friendly grocery option, with a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment. The store's consistent positive reviews suggest that it is a popular choice for many shoppers in the area.
I'm not sure what his name was, but the nice man of the sushi counter around 5:00 p.m. today handmade my roll when I found out that it wasn't still in stock for the day. It was incredibly kind of him, it made my day. I had no cash to tip unfortunately but just wanted to shout out him. Thank you so much!
