“Sometimes I stop by just for the welcoming atmosphere. There is always something to catch your eye at Velvet Witch, and everything from the ivy creeping prettily on the storefront to the crystals twinkling in the sunny window invite you inside. There is something for every budget and many fun pop up events they host. All staff is knowledgeable and helpful with finding what you are looking for. I've never felt more at ease in any other shop and I truly value the existence of Velvet Witch.”

“If you go by the window display, you'd think this was a lamp store. You'd be mistaken. This store has all sorts of decorative home accessories, women's clothes, candles, scented soaps and lotions, etc. Oh, and an assortment of lamps, lampshades, etc”
“This place should be on everyones trip list.Loved my impromptu stop here.Be warned this is NOT a QUICK stop ?An hour in this store and we (17yo Daughter) had only seen about a 1/4 of the place.So much to see and aww over.Fantastic prices and lots of hidden gemsI walked out a set of gorgeous soup bowls for only $5!!Daughter got herself some retro Tees, silk blouse and beautiful fur cuffs for a formal event.We will definitely be popping in again when we visit Norfolk!!”

“We went to Benjamin Moore for some paint to touch up some spots on our house. The old owners didn’t leave a can, so we had no idea what they used, nor did we have a good sample. The staff was so nice and we asked them to give it a shot based on the thin, poor quality sample that we could get. They did an amazing job and it looks almost perfect. We really appreciate their willingness to help us, even though we couldn’t provide what is typically required for a solid color match.”
“I went to Old Time Pottery and everything was 30-75% off. I got tons of awesome stuff for next to nothing. They had lots of florals, Xmas decorations , home decor galore and very nice quality. Unfortunately I found out it’s been sold to Gabe’s and as I have a Gabe’s near my house now I’m afraid it will turn into just a dump.”

“We stopped by IKEA on our way back from the Outer Banks. We were so happy to stop here! The closest IKEA to us at home is about three or more hours away. What a great place to see so many things in the beautiful set ups. We ate lunch here and all enjoyed the variety of foods! Will definitely visit an IKEA again. Service , selection and values are exceptional.”
