“I had a wonderful experience at this gas station / convenience store.I was having a hard time with the air pump outside of the gas station. I went inside to get some help and the manager or assistant manager.(not sure what she was) she went outside with me and told me what I was doing wrong and she proceeded to fill up my tires. In the rain and she was happy to do so and didn't make me feel stupid. I appreciate that very much”

“Best Wawa in Hampton Roads for the entertainment value. Everytime I've been theres been employees singing, some guy that blew up the bathroom, a lady with ducks, some guy that stole multiple 12 packs, and a lady getting mad she didnt get double meat”
“Ok, too many panhandlers are loitering around the building, making it uncomfortable to shop at this store during the day. But the food is magnificent. I would recommend you get the fried wing combo during the early afternoon. Otherwise, the food is old. Comes with a can drink and fries (ask for less salt as he adds too much salt to the crinkle fries). The three piece wing combo is $9.00. I love the New York style pizza. I would order this by the slice if I were you. The whole pizza is not baked long enough in my humble opinion as the crust is soft. They have fresh sandwiches. I recommend the pastrami toasted with cheese. They have a variety of slot machines. It is a gasoline station too but the gas is too expensive. They have deep-fried pork chops. Don't forget to tip the cook. Bottle of hot sauce, BBQ sauce is available. I can't wait to come back.”

“I dig this location. The parking lot and pumps are easy to access unlike other gas stations in Portsmouth. It's at a high traffic area yet it's not impossible to get a pump or spot. The store is always clean and well stocked.”

I've had no issues with staff. 99% of the time they are bubbly and seem to have great energy and motivation. The store is relatively clean. Everything has been stocked fully every time. Keep it up. Definitely not the worst 7eleven”

“One of the only places open all night to pick up food & drinks late night, early morning. Many different types of coffee, drinks, subs, wraps, ect. Real convenient if you drive late night shift. Large gas island, never a wait. Hit these stores Real quick & back on the road with gas & a snack. Quality of food is Incredibly Good for a convenience store.”

“Very nice lady at the register the day I visited. She told me when the 1st WAWA open. I have been in Wawa's from VA to MI and she is one that stands OUT. Of course the one in MI takes the prize because the sell liquor! Totally unbelievable at 5am to find that out when all you want is COFFEE after a long drive!”

“Wish the new owner teach the employees how to use the computer correctly and the machine messed up couldn’t get gas because iPhone wallet was full of money but their machine wouldn’t work or the girl at the counter couldn’t do it. So I went royal farms for gas and didn’t even have to go in !no inspection guy been waiting a year for them to get one”
