“Yall better stop sleeping on these stores tucked any in the neighborhoods. Maxway has been around for years and they always serve a purpose when I visit. This particular visit I was on a mission to find Christmas PJ's for my family (all girls). It was late in the game so the pickings at other stores were slim to none. I had my mind set to visit a few stores on this Christmas Eve to check, but then a light switch went off... "Maria check out Maxway" - here I am! Maxway had what I needed and more! I found great deals on PJ's socks and gift bags. They had Christmas sweaters as well all were percentages off... Christmas Eve! I am sure their pickings were plentiful when the season approached and for that reason alone this will be my first stop next year the day after Thanksgiving! The lines were were pretty long, but the cashiers moved the lines quite swiftly. If you don't mind shopping in clutter or searching high and low for deals, then this is the place for you! If you haven't checked them out, I suggest you do. Clothing and essentials are available for all family members. There is plenty of parking too. The store is located in a strip mall type setting... eateries are nearby and other mom and pop shops. Have fun and enjoy life :)”
“Yay, we have a Dollar Tree near the golf course. This was a RiteAid drugstore so it is roomy and the aisles are wider. It feels good to walk down the clean aisles and well-stocked shelves without scrambling to one side to let another person go by you in the aisle. The manager is very kind, he is usually on the floor somewhere when I come in. Great attitude and friendly, and his attitude creates a pleasant store environment. Huge parking lot with plenty of room even on the weekends. The customers are pleasant too. Great to be able to shop for quality school supplies for teachers and my students at a great price. The Dollar store now has a few upscale items that me be $1.50 to $5.00 that are special buys. Sometimes the special buys are pretty snazzy or tasty. Visit and enough the calmness of Portsmouth! Ahhhh”

“I am a trucker and I must say..The manager Christopher went above and beyond!It's rare these days for people to offer help but even more rare to offer help to truck drivers ?I am new to the loading n unloading side of trucking. And was truly struggling to pull heavy shelves in the Rolltainers. Omg he came out and helped me pull every single Rolltainer! I would have been out there all day literally if it wasn't for him. Truly thank you. And I can tell all the employees are very courteous. Christopher is a very special man. The store is blessed to have him.”
“I returned to the store to have the security tag removed from a pair of shoes that I purchased at another location (that closes an hour earlier). The cashier greeted me politely and quickly removed the tag before wishing me a great evening. My only complaint is the appearance of the parking lot...lots of trash and people often hanging out there.”

“Is the store messy sometimes, yes! However, the amount of people that come here to buy things is very high so restocking takes time. The people that work here are always very nice and pleasant. They generally have anything I need within reason. I’m not coming here looking for a five course meal.”

“This store is in a great location. It needs to get stock up and on the shelves. I'm comparing it with other stores that have shelves bursting with inventory but it's not a convenient location for me. It's better than it was a year ago but needs to get the inventory on the shelves. It would pay for this to take front and center. The staff was professional and polite.”

“I love this place even though the shopping center ter is trashy. I can always get more bang for the bucks. Just wish the surrounding store fronts and parking lot were cleaner and more inviting. Nevertheless, I'm usually in and out at Ollie's so I'm good.”
