βFairway Supermarket in Woodbridge is an absolute hidden gem! This small, locally owned family grocery store offers an incredible variety of products from across the Indian subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives). All at fantastic prices.
The people who run this store are so wonderfully kind, helpful, and personable. Every visit feels warm and welcoming. Thank you for the incredible Pakistani mango - one of the sweetest, freshest mangos Iβve ever tasted! This truly is a lovely family, and it shows in the way they treat their customers.
The selection here is amazing and so unique:

I always find something new, and there are staple items I can only get here. They have several aisles of fun, interesting, and wholesome snack products that you just donβt see at chain grocery stores.

Lamb and goat at incredible prices, perfect for authentic cooking. I believe they have other types of meat, including fish, as well.

Much, if not most, of their products appear to be halal, which is really helpful for those who need it.
And while they specialize in subcontinental products, they also carry universal basics, so you can pick up everyday items at the same time.
Every trip to Fairway feels like traveling to another country. I make it a point to try something new every time I go.

βGreat price, I get the groceries primarily from Lidl on a weekly basis. Check out can be frustrating as they usually have only 1 register opened and 4 self check outs. The self outs almost always require associate assistance. The only associate you get an assistance from is the one who is working at that only 1 opened register. So it's either you wait in 1 opens line or you wait for an associate at self out register.β
βAs soon as you walk in there is a wonderful produce section. They have it set up in its own area, think mini store inside a store. Produce was all incredible, many grocery stores have less than ideal looking produce in the winter and early spring. They have some great looking and feeling produce
Small floral section. Everything is nicely organized and labeled. More importantly it is clean!
Overall a very good grocery store option.β

We absolutely love Anna & Jose at Deli they're ALWAYS smiling and making jokes with us, interacting with us while they're cutting our cold cuts. We get alot of cold cuts by the way and they never show that they're annoyed like other supermarkets. They're also patient with us when we're indecisive and willing to help us with what we're looking for.
I came in today because of the time we came in we had to do self-service. At 1st we was disappointed, but Jayla made our experience pleasant.
I Want to point out I absolutely love ALLLLLLLLLLL the staff members there they're ALWAYS helping my family when we come. I didnt get everyone's name just wanted to acknowledge EVERYONE at this location because at one point of my visits EACH of them has helped and they deserve their recognition as well.
So thank you to EVERYONE at this location for ALWAYS making our visits pleasant.β
βWe stopped at this little shop on the way to our fishing hole. Lots of lures and fishing supplies to choose from to help facilitate the fishing trip. Drinks, snacks, and fishing gear, what else does one need? Oh there were plenty of live minnows if you are into the love bait. Great little store, even my wife was impressed.β

βGood store with nice people. It is very busy and sometimes it feels like they sometimes have trouble keeping up with stock. Alo occasionally shorthanded which creates longer lines and longer waits for curbside purchases.β

βBeen going to Gray brothers for several years for odds and ends. I went in one day to get some baloney. When I opened it when I got home, the only place that baloney belongs is, in the trash. Several green spots and the baloney was "slimey" to the touch. I dumped it, not taking any chances with food poisoning. It didn't smell bad, but I wasn't taking any chances.β

βThis is a hidden gem in Stafford. They not only have a bakery, but they also have a restaurant connected to the bakery. Their food is always fresh. They have great fresh fruit drinks which I highly recommend. Their breads are delicious. I definitely recommend everyone to try their bread, fruit drinks and food. There is something on the menu for every person in the family, even the picky ones. This is a family owned business which makes the experience even better. The whole family is very nice and attentive.β

βI went this morning at 10:00 am to grab a few things at this Food Lion location. None of the cashierβs greeted me or my daughter coming into the store. I grab a cart and started shopping and two aisle later still no hello from an employee.We were almost finished with the grocery list when we got to the cold section and an employee by the name of Deonte finally greeted us with a friendly hello. He was very professional and welcoming to the store. I just wanted management know Deonte is doing an excellent job in customer service and he should be recognized for this 5Star βοΈ rating for your store. Greetings and customer service are worth 5Stars when done right and Deonte is doing a Great job making your customers feel welcome to shop at this store location. The Food Lion next to the Chick-fil-A.β

βI had a great experience thanks to one of the employees, I think He is Name Mohammad . They were incredibly helpful, kind, and went out of their way to assist me with everything I needed. Itβs rare to find such friendly and dedicated service, and it made my shopping so much easier and more pleasant.
The store itself is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with a great variety of products. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff seem genuinely happy to help. Iβll definitely keep coming back and highly recommend this supermarket to others.

β4/30/24 12:25 pm - Weird, hostile energy at Mom's Organic today. The Mom's bathroom reeked of vaping. When I mentioned this to the cashier (Paula) and bagger (Hispanic female with long hair, name tag not visible), the bagger aggressively told me, "It's customers. There's nothing we can do about it". When I pointed out that customers vaping in the bathroom made no sense since customers are only in the store for a short time and are free to go outside whenever they wish her body language got angry. "We don't do that" the bagger said and then refused to discuss it further. I got super weird vibes from this interaction. Receipt number 764005-04 purchase total $83.93.Update to 8/12/23 - The t-shirt is from a movie advocating people fight with their fists, not guns. 8/12/2023 2:45 pm a Mom's employee named Jason is wearing a t-shirt advocating gun violence against white people. How is this acceptable and why did the Mom's Woodbridge store manager or fellow Mom's employees not notice or speak out against this? The t-shirt shows the face of a black man saying the following message - Shooters: Shoot the fair one not each other. Note: The t-shirt did not say shoot A fair one. The shirt said shoot THE fair one. This t-shirt is not about encouraging people to play fair. This shirt advocates targeting a particular racial group for murder.β

βLove this supermarket, I shop here all the time. They usually have most items I can't find at Walmart. I get some specialty type meats here. They serve tasty hot hispanic food in the back, sometimes I come here just for the food. Highly recommend for your international food needs. Good beer/wine section. Great fruit/vegetable selection.β
