“Went to Dyson demo store unplanned was in the mall and wanted to see if they had the diffuser attachment for my air wrap. Zach approached me and asked if I needed help I asked if they had the attachment and he immediately went and grabbed it for me and checked me out. Very good customer service. Quick and easy. “We have worked with Ferguson for large projects and have been happy. But this time, I was just looking for a few small parts that the large box stores didn’t have. I stopped by Fergusons as a last resort. Who knew Ferguson also had plumbing supplies. I went to the Merrifield location and the service was great. They could tell that I had no idea what I needed and they were patient and extremely helpful. I will no longer be going to the big box stores for plumbing, straight to Ferguson in Merrifield.”

“ADU is the best place to get appliances. You get personal service that the big stores never give you, and most of the prices are even better than the big box stores. We outfitted our entire kitchen with a new refrigerator, microwave, induction oven and dishwasher, and we probably saved more than 1000.00 over what Home Depot or Lowe’s quoted. They coordinated delivery with our remodeling contractor, and we didn’t have to do a thing. Best service ever.”
“Recently hit this location for some fencing, barbed wire, and a new he-shed. Steve/Stephen did a great job guiding me in the right direction with my needs for this project. My son and Drew (my daughter's boyfriend) are going to love our new man cave -- Drew may never want to leave after he sees it! Only thing we forgot is an outdoor lock. See you soon Steve!

“I visited here to rent a larger tool that's not available at other, closer, Home Depots and Ryan went above and beyond to help make sure I had the best experience possible. He recommended considering a box truck with a built in, less steep ramp to take the 350+ lb tool rather than the pickup and detachable ramp with a much steeper incline that I had originally reserved. When he showed me the difference he was absolutely right and it made things so much easier on me when loading and unloading. Then he showed me how to secure it in the truck, educated me on how it worked, and got me on my way while making sure I had everything I needed. All while assisting his coworkers and a computer down. When I returned the machine and truck later the employees were surprised I'd been able to handle it so easily and I put that down to Ryan preparing me when he so easily could have just waved me on my way. I would absolutely rent from here again, especially with Ryan at the desk.”
“I’m writing this in response to the review left by James Steel. With all due respect, it’s frustrating to see someone constantly complain about something as minor as music being played by store staff. These employees work long shifts and use music as a way to stay motivated and keep a positive atmosphere while doing their jobs.
As someone who also works in retail (at FedEx), I can say from experience that music makes a real difference during tough hours. It’s not unprofessional—it’s human. These are likely young workers just trying to get through their day. There’s no need to make their jobs harder with unnecessary complaints.
For the record, I’m not connected to Best Buy in any way—I’m just a regular customer. Every time I visit this location, I’m met with helpful, friendly service. I recently picked up an OLED TV, and the staff went out of their way to assist me with loading it into my car.
Let’s cut workers some slack and focus on what matters: good service and helpful support—which this store delivers every time.”

“If deciding between Merrifield and Reston, pick this location. Better parking, friendlier and more helpful staff.
Though, some of the products are weirdly priced. The largest (usually the cheapest) of the Brush Killer was notably higher prices than the 1 gallon option.”
