“This was my third time using Pat's to distribute flowers for our office. Each time the experience has been great, and the bouquets have been beautiful and well received!”
“Nice selection, great prices, friendly staff. I looked at 5 other stores for holly bushes and finally found them here. So happy to have a new go-to garden center!”
“Customer service by Will today, October 1,2026 was exceptional -- probably spent an hour with us off and on and was extremely helpful -- his knowledge of the shrubs we were looking for was top notch -- growth, sun, soil, pest tolerance were of the upmost usefulness to us -- we will be back again again because of him”
“This is my to go spot for home supplies. They are knowledgeable and reasonable priced . I you spend you get rewards and I appreciate that . Today Mo helped me and everyone else was Pleasant. Thanks again The did have deals. I told the gentleman there selling this the spot remover that I love and everyone don’t carry it. Thanks for adding new products. I see ya!👋🏼 I did not show the special stuff , but if you wanna know put it in your comment .I think I can see it .”
“Excellent customer service!
Very knowledgeable employees.
I received a referral from Kevin for a issue with small engine service Walter Yates. Awesome service”
“The plant house is wonderful. Every person working there today was happy, helpful, knowledgeable and amazing. I had a plant repotted there in part because there just isn't room in my house to re-pot a 3 foot gangly plant and because I was worried I'd be to rough if I did it myself. I am thankful they offer repotting as a service (and I think as a class...may have to find those details and take that class!) If you have plants in need of new pots and soil, check them out!”
“It's a darn good thing I don't live near this nursery! This place is awesome! They have a beautiful selection of plants, garden supplies and decor. I was pleased that they have a native plant section. I was so happy that they had a plant I've not found elsewhere. Definitely check them out!”
“The staff was great. I brought in an EGO battery operated weed wacker from home. They told me to bring it in even though they did not sell this particular weed wacker. As a novice to weed whacking, the staff showed me how to take the string trimmer apart and which trimmer string to buy. They also showed me how the weed wacker should be re-strung and directed me to a you tube video for specifics. After watching the video at home, I was able to re-string my weed wacker and start trimming my yard that afternoon. They didn’t have to do this. The staff is just genuinely kind and knowledgeable enough to help people out, unlike the help I’ve found at Home Depot and Lowe’s.”
“Beautiful shop to treat yourself to a few exotic tropicals, philodendron red, black and gold philodendron etc.
Or feast your eyes on a variety of mini to large orchids. There were some mini orchid colors I hadn't seen at other local stores, such as pale creamy yellow, chocolate, etc. 4 pack of annuals is around $3.99 (as of 6-8-24) great variety!
Many vines as well such as moonflower, rudbeckia (black eyed Susan vine), and clematis.
A few natives plants such as Mountain mint but majority of outdoor plants are non-native annuals. All their plants look super healthy too which is very impressive considering the volume of plants offered, everything looks extremely well cared for. To me, this is a Hallmark if a business that is invest in offering healthy plants to the public and tending to it's inventory. Also extremely supportive in yes. Of offering care advise and friendly. I am adding this local beauty to my saved favorites to visit in RVA when I get another itch to purchase more house plants. Many are outside so I'm curious to see how it transforms over the seasons. This would be a beautiful place to meet for a plant club or series of classes that provide the public with a resource to learn more about caring for tropicals and exotics (even orchids). A new gem, to find for me in the RVA area.”
“Cheapest place to get a key made. Unlike the kiosk that costs 10 bucks to ship your key later on, you will leave with your copy right then! Makes much more sense if you ask me.”
“Thank you to Strange's Florists!
I ordered an arrangement for my niece on the morning it was scheduled for delivery, only to find out that she would not be at work that day. I immediately called Strange's Florists, and they took action right away. Everyone I spoke with was courteous, kind, and eager to help.
They contacted the delivery driver, had the arrangement picked up, and arranged for it to be re-delivered. Keep in mind, this all happened on a Friday of a holiday weekend. Despite the challenge, the arrangement was successfully delivered on Tuesday.
Thank you again to Strange's Florists for going above and beyond. This level of customer service is exactly why I have been a loyal customer for more than 30 years. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a florist. If you need flowers, choose Strange's Florists—you won't be disappointed!”
“Strange's Short Pump location was absolutely wonderful to work with and brought our unique wedding vision to life! They were incredibly accommodating with all of our ideas and helped us create the perfect floral details for our special day.
They provided beautiful live flowers and plants for the planter boxes we created, along with gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding party. They also coordinated with our baker to provide matching flowers for our wedding cake, which was such a beautiful finishing touch!
We were so happy with how everything came together and truly appreciated their creativity, flexibility, and attention to detail. We highly recommend Strange's for anyone looking for a florist who will bring their vision to life!”
“shout out to Bill N for helping us find exactly what we need to fix and finish our gazebo!!! he was super knowledgeable and friendly. great experience all around!”
“Tried the online pickup for the first time and I have to compliment Walmart on the usability of the App and the seamless pick up process, not to mention the young man that brought out our order was incredibly friendly and polite.”
“Two thumbs up to Mike at the Pro Desk of Home Depot, Carmia Way, Midlothian, VA. Mike was easy to find, answered our questions, helped us load our door onto the cart, and helped us load our door into our truck. After visiting Lowe's first and searching the store but finding NO ONE even interested in helping us, it was refreshing to discover Mike at Home Depot. Thanks, Mike, for your friendly professionalism. You have made us Home Depot fans for life. Mike deserves a raise!

“Recently bought a house so I have been in this home depot far more times per week than I really expected to be in my adult life. I really underestimated how much of my budget now goes to spending 50$ at Home Depot 2-3 times a week.
Fantastic staff. I haven't run into any employees who haven't been kind, patient, and flexible with what I need to get my project done. Particularly Joe, I am so excited to see Joe working and get his help, he's always very sincere and curious about what I'm working on and can make what seems like a frustrating problem turn into an opportunity to make something cool! Thanks so much!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Sneed’s Nursery. They have been incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful throughout a very unfortunate situation involving ambrosia beetles.
Their compassion and willingness to work with me—especially under extenuating circumstances—meant more than I can express. It’s rare to find a business that stands behind their customers the way they do.
Jessica and her team are absolutely outstanding. Thank y’all so much!!
Because of this experience, they’ve earned my trust and my business going forward. I will definitely be returning. Truly phenomenal service. Indubitably 5 stars.”
