“Shocked to be writing a good review about USPS. My whole life I have had horrible experiences going to USPS (in Florida, mainly), but today I was surprised. I was one of the first customers there once the doors opened. I was taken care of by Mark Mczeal who guided me through which envelope to use and helped me to make a sensible choice. I truly appreciated his excellent customer service.”

I don't expect service workers to be full of sunshine and happiness all day, so I don't care about friendliness as long as they aren't intentionally rude. The employees have been friendly every time I've come here. No complaints”

However, I came in today to ask a question because a few weeks ago, I bought an item off of ebay and the person sent it to me via USPS. I never received my package and first asked the seller what the status of my order was. They went to their local post office and found out that the package had “not confirmed delivery”. The seller told me to check with my local post office to see if it was received.I stopped in today to ask someone if this was the location that receives and then delivers my mail. That’s all I was trying to ask. The maintenance guy I spoke to first was very professional. He was the first one to inform me that they were closed today for President’s Day and from there, I understood that I could not retrieve any possible mail I could have. Then, there was a another gentleman in a white t-shirt who was very rude to me. He apparently was assuming that I came in to pick up mail and was quick to interrupt me and repeat himself without letting me finish what I was going to say. I wasn’t sure if they had it in the first place. I might just contact the seller and ask if they can deliver via different means because I really dislike this location. I’ve been to other post offices that had much better service than this garbage. I really just don’t want to ever come back.I already knew that this location had terrible customer service and a few times I’ve come there within the last few years I lived in the area, I’ve seen customers getting horrible service.”

“Staff were friendly, polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. I came in around 10a on a Tuesday to get a package put together and shipped, gentleman at the counter packaged it for me. Took 5 minutes. The service here when I’ve gone has always been consistent and it’s definitely my preferred location in Midlothian compared to others nearby.”

“Great staff. Two clerks that help traffic move quickly. I had to mail a t-shirt and two large canvasses and one of the clerks helped me package it safely when I was completely lost on how to do it best. Highly recommend and while hours are not posted, it's a regular 9-5 day. :)”

“I’ve always received good customer service from the agent at this location. I’ve read some other reviews, and must say that the agent has an eccentric sense of humor, but I cannot say that he has ever been rude to me. It does appear that the agent is a one man show. However, in my opinion, he is efficient, and does a great job by himself, as I’ve never had a long wait. I have, on several occasions run in at the 11th hour, literally two minutes before closing, when I would have admittedly been upset if I were in his shoes, and on the other side of that glass. Instead, he has been nothing but helpful on each of my visits, and has even suggested the safest and most cost effect ways to ship fragile items, oversized items, and even international packages. My only complaint is about the building. It does seem a bit dark inside, and could stand better lighting.”

“The lady working the desk is the most patient person ever. She needs a raise. She was the only person working the front desk at 4:30 and the pile of drop off packages was overflowing. I don't know how she kept her composure. I think I would have cried handling lines that long and all those packages. She has always been patient and kind every time I've been to this location.”
