“Such a beautiful outlet mall, but quite cold during this season. However, very satisfied with all the stores & outdoor walk. Would love to come during the summer seasons when it’s warmer & flowers bloomed. Highly recommend checking out, but if you want Starbucks, I highly recommend buy on the app & pick up instead of waiting in line.”

“Update: I have been visiting the area more frequently. I have only had one incident near the Wegman's where I did not feel safe. Otherwise the lights in other areas are bright and the pathways store to store are well maintained still.
Original: Did not visit any particular store, I had to turn around, it is well laid out. I will be visiting next week and will update if anything stands out.”

“Stopped in the PePes restraunt & OMG, this place is a must stop in if you've never been there, but if you are traveling & in this area, make this a stop... not only is there good service, but the quick & freshness of your food was truly amazing. The food was delicious ?”

“Found many items I couldn't get in my local shop. Had to leave suddenly cause I went over my 30 book limit.? Need to make a return trip. As much as I love B&N, 2nd and Charles is the only store I can really buy books or the thrift store and even their selection has lessened as of late. Of course there is NEVER a 2nd and Charles location close to me and I often miss the penny a page sale because of my work schedule.”

Lots of variety in what is available. This would be a great destination for an outing to explore shops and then make some appointments for services and classes.”

With a great mix of stores, including budget-friendly options, it’s easy to find stylish outfits without breaking the bank. “Went to the Hibachi House in the shopping center and as always the food was outstanding and, as always, way more than I cloud eat in one sitting. There was enough for two or three people. Thank you for feeding us very well!! 👍👍”

“Went in here looking for a couple of unique Christmas gift boxes. Found them and at a reasonable price, even got an outdoor Christmas mat while I was there. I'd give it 5 stars but they were stocking shelves so maneuvering through the isles and trying to see merchandise was somewhat challenging. Then again, it kinda made it like a scavenger hunt, which is always fun!”

“Small strip mall on Patterson Avenue with some parking in front and lots of parking in back. Has three restaurants, a spa/salon, and a running store. Don't be fooled by the name though, there is NO POST OFFICE. The post office is behind it and across the side street. If you do end up here, you can walk out through the back and cross the street to get to it.”

“This was a very clean place without strong smells deterring you from shopping. Fruits and vegetables looked very fresh and healthy. There are many options. There was an entire food court to the furthest right side of the store. It was a very good visit.”

“Kroger is in the old Safeway International if I am not mistaken. Decent grocery experience. Deli, meat and produce looked pretty fresh. Alot of healthy and vegan options in a few aisles. Store was very clean and stocked good. Associates were helpful and courteous. Will shop again when in the Cary Town area.”

“Decent shopping center. They recently opened a Burlington's here and the Marshalls from across the highway moved here, interestingly. I've known this place my whole life and it's nice seeing getting a change for the better.”

“Parking could definitely use an upgrade—it’s like playing a slow-motion game of Tetris with shopping carts and SUVs—but once you’re in, Laburnum Green Shopping Center makes it worth the squeeze. This plaza is packed with hidden gems that give it real local charm.

Let’s start with the standouts:
• A spotless Chinese takeout that proves “fast food” doesn’t have to mean “sketchy.”
• A Peruvian rotisserie restaurant serving lunch specials so good you’ll start inventing errands nearby just to justify going again.
• A gun shop for the responsible enthusiast.
• S & P Auto, where honesty finally meets affordability (a rare combo in any zip code).
• A Dominican hair salon run by the talented and fearless Rosa, who can transform your look and your confidence in one visit.
• A Dominican-style barbershop where the cuts are sharp, the energy is loud, and if you don’t understand what’s being asked… well, you’ll find out fast. “Make sure you make an appointment first or you will get a barking at.”
• And Allen Family Dental, featuring Stephanie, the most informative dental hygienist on the East Coast—possibly the only person who can make you feel good about flossing habits you don’t actually have.

The rest of the shops? They’re worth exploring. You’ll find everything from the practical to the unexpected, all stitched together by that unmistakable local energy—where everyone’s busy, friendly, and slightly chaotic in the best way.

In short, Laburnum Green isn’t fancy, but it’s full of personality, great food, and hardworking local businesses that give the area its heartbeat. Just bring your patience for parking and your appetite for discovery.”
