“My partner and I finally snagged a reservation to enjoy a late dinner, and were very happy we did! The food was phenomenal (especially the branzino, which was on special while we were there), the portion sizes were great, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was lively and the intimacy of the space is great. I would recommend watching Opentable like a hawk if you want a table rather than bar seating, but both the bar and table service are great ways to enjoy their phenomenal food. We would absolutely recommend.”

“I rented a tux from here and we had several issues with Jim’s Formal that they were unable to reconcile. With less than 24 hours to my event, Sunil and his team were able to get a tux fully tailored for me for around the same cost of renting a tux. Great service, great experience overall. The tux’s that came in from Jim’s were absolutely awful and none of the sizes fit as they should have. I highly recommend just buying a tux from this place. It’s the same price and I was really impressed at how well it was tailored.”
“Wonderful shop! The vibe is organic. You can buy scented body oils, which I purchase (Joop mixed women and men smells so fresh and clean), incense, authentic African garments, hair coverings (which is how I originally found them), creams, African jewelry, and more. I've been twice, and the brothers in there are professional and respectful. It's a peaceful and all love environment. I've been twice now. I travel from Scottsville- Fluvanna, VA, to go to Richmond to get my scented body oils. It's so worth the drive. I receive so many compliments on my oil. Thank you Shakoor's! Still one of the best Bean stores for excellent customer service. Recently Alisa was kind enough to hunt down an item I was looking for and she shipped it to me! This is a busy time of year, but she took the time to do this for me over the phone. She was so kind & patient. The top arrived quickly & in perfect condition!

“i have never really written reviews for places, even places i love and go to a lot, but it felt necessary to give this place 5/5!! i came in looking for a pair of safety toe boots for working jobsites. frank took the time to measure me, bring out a pair of boots to start with, and brought out other pairs i might like as i was giving input. i found the perfect pair for a great price!! frank is a really nice guy who didnt try to upsell or push something on me i didnt need and cared about me finding something that suited my needs and taste. please support local business as this is the sort of service you can only find at a mom and pop shop!! i will definitely be coming back when i need more gear!! thank you frank and the kitties!!”

“A nice alternative to Barnes and Noble. When I first moved up here (pre covid) they seemed kinda expensive, but for what I buy their prices haven't gone up since, so now compared to the rest of the world they are affordable. Staff have been nice every time I've gone in. Their location changed, which I'm sure is confusing some folks because the old building still has the name up, so I've attached a picture of the front of the new building.”

“You can find good deals here cheap and if youre looking for stuff last minute ...I found some scrubs on clearance but they run small so go a size uo or 2...depends on brand ...found some sports stuff and BCA things for Awareness...cute loungewear and decent prices...try on the clothes....they run small...”

“Best customer service experience I have probably ever had in my entire life. I couldn’t find some of the tops that were on a mannequin and without even looking for someone to help us, one of the workers named Abbi asked if we needed help finding them. They were in a certain area across the store and she helped find them in my specific size. She also picked out some tops that she thought would look cute on my cousin and I and encouraged us to try them on. One of the tops they did not have in my size and she helped me order it online instead. Honestly she deserves a raise. She is fantastic and honestly makes me want to go back to that store. I don’t write reviews but the service there was so good that it made me want to.”
“I really like Jcrew Factory especially for kids clothing and the men's selection. The clothing is well made, stylish, and classic. I appreciate the interesting textures of the fabrics. The employees are helpful but never overbearing and let you have your space to enjoy the shopping experience. The app is easy to use and I appreciate all of the sales. No need to ever pay full price because there is always a sale if you wait a day or two. I usually don't buy anything unless it's at least 30% off.”
