You can buy scented body oils, which I purchase (Joop mixed women and men smells so fresh and clean), incense, authentic African garments, hair coverings (which is how I originally found them), creams, African jewelry, and more. I've been twice, and the brothers in there are professional and respectful. It's a peaceful and all love environment. I've been twice now. I travel from Scottsville- Fluvanna, VA, to go to Richmond to get my scented body oils. It's so worth the drive. I receive so many compliments on my oil. Thank you Shakoor's! The food was phenomenal (especially the branzino, which was on special while we were there), the portion sizes were great, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was lively and the intimacy of the space is great. I would recommend watching Opentable like a hawk if you want a table rather than bar seating, but both the bar and table service are great ways to enjoy their phenomenal food. We would absolutely recommend.”

I couldn’t find some of the tops that were on a mannequin and without even looking for someone to help us, one of the workers named Abbi asked if we needed help finding them. They were in a certain area across the store and she helped find them in my specific size. She also picked out some tops that she thought would look cute on my cousin and I and encouraged us to try them on. One of the tops they did not have in my size and she helped me order it online instead. Honestly she deserves a raise. She is fantastic and honestly makes me want to go back to that store. I don’t write reviews but the service there was so good that it made me want to.”

He also helped us pick out a belt and even recommended where to shop for shoes, along with specific styles that would work best with the outfit.
