“So far in my city adventures, this seems to be THE thrift spot in the city, and for a good reason. It's queer, it's got a bunch of vintage technology, there's constant cycles of pretty much any style of clothing the heart wants, and they're shockingly affordable. Every time I walk in they have pretty much a whole new shop's worth of things to add onto your person. My only minor issue is that they don't typically have pants above a 40 waist size, but you win some you lose some. This is a gorgeous thift with a number of different art pieces that I've deeply considered acquiring. Easily my best thrifting experience in RVA city to date.”

“This is the goodwill you go to if you do resales or if you are looking for the best brands for your closet that is new. This location has a lot of money around it so a lot of nice new donations come here daily. Some come in here 3 or 4 times a day bc they constantly put new inventory out. Also this area doesn't have a lot of shoppers and most that donate here money isn't a problem and they buy what they want and donate it when they don't. This is a rich area meaning more donations and less shoppers. Areas that are cheaper to live in won't have as nice of stuff donated and what is will be gone so fast and usually by the employees. Goodwill is slowly catching on and anything real valuable they get now they put online for sale on a e commerce website and will sell like that. For only excepting donations and then selling these companies make a killing and they aren't helping like they portrayed. If u are looking for all the in style stuff and designer brands I highly suggest visiting the Rockville manakin sabot location and the short pump location. U won't regret it. I have got so many pairs of jordans from them that were authentic and I purchased for 25 and sold for 300. Don't miss out!!! I also know someone that goes there buys clothes with tags only and designer brands then they take that to another clothes store that sells new used and sells to them for double what she paid. Her business pays her way perfectly. We all deserve to be on top. God bless.”

Sometimes they mark the more expensive shoes with magic markers that cannot be removed and they cover the bottom of glassware with stickers and one cannot see where it was made or by whom. “Classic place, reminder to those who want to drop off clothes, its a chain so like they’re probably picky with what they choose because they have to be. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They were super accommodating and attentive, checking in on people throughout the shop. I always find some really fun stuff in this location. My only small complaint is that some things with no clothing label were labeled large but I could barely fit into them. Idk if thats anyone in specifics fault but definitely make sure to try on anything you want!”

“I love their mission and they have an excellent online system for donation pick up. If you have a heavy item you can’t get in your car, they will pick it up with their truck - often in the same week! I found the online system user friendly - including a way to upload photos of items. Please note, the driver has the authority to decline any items in poor condition/not acceptable. They call you to confirm a day and also when they’re on the way. But you don’t have to be home if you can leave it in a carport or other place outside. Great people!”

“I finally have some time to send a BIG thank you to Michael at the retore in Chesterfield. I’ve been visiting the ReStore at Chesterfield Towne Center consistently for the past few weeks, and every single time, I’ve been warmly greeted by Michael. Whether it's a cheerful “Where have you been?” or “I haven’t seen you in a while,” his friendly and familiar energy makes walking through those doors such a joy. Even when I was just there the week before, he still made me feel like a valued guest. Michael creates such a positive and inviting atmosphere—it truly transforms the shopping experience. As a realtor, I often look for creative giveaway items, and during one visit, I spotted some beautiful bottles that would be perfect. When I mentioned this to Michael, he didn’t hesitate. He said, “We’ve got a few more in the back,” and came out with not just a few, but eight boxes! When I asked if there were more, he smiled and said, “I got you,” and came back with the rest. Thanks to him, I was able to purchase them all—and left with a cart full of treasures and a heart full of gratitude. Michael also remembered that I love gardening (how sweet) and kindly reminded me that the potato slips had arrived. I was so excited I practically ran to get them! His thoughtfulness and attentiveness go above and beyond. I honestly don’t know what I’d do if Michael wasn’t at the ReStore. He is the heart of that location—kind, gracious, and always ready to help. He makes every visit worthwhile, and his presence is a true gift to the community. “So great! They have deals everyday for specific items. That day I went and got a bunch of cute wine glasses for super cheap! The two ladies that helped me at the front were super sweet. They were pretty busy when I went up but they were so personable with everyone who cashed out, their stress never showed. They even insisted I take a bag home for some hangers I got ($1 for 10!!) and told me they receive them with the intentions of having them be reused. It’s now my grocery bag, since I live in the city. (And it’s a nice, sturdy one with tons of pockets!!) so I was extremely grateful. Such beautiful energy, you can tell they care. I got a owala bottle for my husband for $4 original price $29.00 and much more but those were the two I was most excited about. Very fun to walk through and see all the hidden treasures. Clothing is very nice as well a great mix well sorted. 10/10 recommend this place.”
