“The cashiers are really sweet and they have a great selection of items from clothes to home goods. However, some of the home goods are a bit pricier than I would expect”

“This shop is ran by the sweetest ladies ever! So organized and I never leave empty handed. Especially with such amazing, actual thrift store prices! I always donate here, and know that everything is going to a great cause and back into my community!”

“This place is really well curated. I’ve been to few shops in the south with this level of consistency in quality and beauty. The ones I recently visited in Charleston at this level were significantly more expensive. Of course that’s Charleston money, but the point is that most of these types of places are either junky or 1%’er money.

Walking through was a breath of fresh air.
The owner and the other staff member I met were very friendly and conversational as well.”

“I always enjoy shopping this location. The selection is great, and I always find what i need especially in clothing. I have found clothing that people think I bought at a higher end store. This is the place to shop for amazing bargains.”

“Great thrift shop with low prices! Had furniture, home items, and clothes.I was confused about the pictures posted under this location's reviews because they seemed like family pictures and not of the store. But I went anyways and glad I did! Will definitely be returning”

“Found some books. Place was really busy. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stores because they really need to fix the parking lot. A totally gravel lot would be better than the disintegrated potholed mess that is currently there. Dangerous to even walk on it.”

“A great selection of homegoods items and some other stuff as well. This is a really good place to find picture frames, and they're priced pretty well. The book selection isn't the greatest but still worth a look.”

“Store is neat throughout, but my wife was really impressed by the used books. Said she'd never seen such an organized book section anywhere. Someone has taken great care to make it that way. We'll be going back.”

“I can always find nice clothing here for a good price in a wide range of sizes from small childrens to womens size 24 and most days they have $1 deals. Everyone I've ever met there including staff has been very nice!”

“Sarah’s Den has some of the best prices I’ve seen, and the store is super cute and well curated. Also they were open on First Fridays and had a great gallery of artwork on display! Plus their mission is really great so I feel great shopping there.”

“Love this place just like any other Goodwill it's always a hit and miss sometimes you find really good stuff sometimes you don't it's all part of the hunts, Happy hunting!”

“Furniture prices often start out high, but they get marked down regularly. Good pricing on other items, and they mark everything down regularly. The store always has a large inventory. Not the cleanest place. All items in the store are 25% off every Tuesday.”

“My go to Goodwill in the Chesterfield area. The prices have gotten a little steep. Sometimes they mark the more expensive shoes with magic markers that cannot be removed and they cover the bottom of glassware with stickers and one cannot see where it was made or by whom. These are my two pet peeves.”

“This is the goodwill you go to if you do resales or if you are looking for the best brands for your closet that is new. This location has a lot of money around it so a lot of nice new donations come here daily. Some come in here 3 or 4 times a day bc they constantly put new inventory out. Also this area doesn't have a lot of shoppers and most that donate here money isn't a problem and they buy what they want and donate it when they don't. This is a rich area meaning more donations and less shoppers. Areas that are cheaper to live in won't have as nice of stuff donated and what is will be gone so fast and usually by the employees. Goodwill is slowly catching on and anything real valuable they get now they put online for sale on a e commerce website and will sell like that. For only excepting donations and then selling these companies make a killing and they aren't helping like they portrayed. If u are looking for all the in style stuff and designer brands I highly suggest visiting the Rockville manakin sabot location and the short pump location. U won't regret it. I have got so many pairs of jordans from them that were authentic and I purchased for 25 and sold for 300. Don't miss out!!! I also know someone that goes there buys clothes with tags only and designer brands then they take that to another clothes store that sells new used and sells to them for double what she paid. Her business pays her way perfectly. We all deserve to be on top. God bless.”

“I'm consistently impressed with the clothes in stock here. I recently picked up a vintage designer floral button down in great condition, and two new casual shirts all for less than one comparable piece at a retail store. The staff were helpful, and my partner was able to walk in and do a trade with little fuss. I'll definitely come back seasonally before I buy elsewhere.”

“I have been larding my cd collection recently with several trips to Goodwill. Plenty of items will not be to your taste. How many Xmas cds do you need? But I have lots of classical gems that cost me -$1 each. I wish more jazz and rock were there, but there were only a few. I got some Sara McLaughlin and some Enya. So that was nice. Go and see what you can score.”

“This is the best Goodwill
I've been to in Richmond. Aside from the fact that I found furnishings I needed for my home; I found people who made me feel good about being alive. Thank you Goodwill”

“I love the clothes here, I don’t go often but when I do, I almost always find something of quality. Most recently I got this 100% vintage silk blouse for $3, for a few light stains that were easily removed at the dry cleaner, and Ralph Lauren velvet cargo pants.”

3.5 Good87 Reviews

“Great service and good prices. Staff is very helpful especially when donating unlike other donation/thrift stores where you're lucky to get an eye roll at best when dropping off items. Definitely my go to for donations and furniture is generally a better quality.”

“I finally have some time to send a BIG thank you to Michael at the retore in Chesterfield.

I’ve been visiting the ReStore at Chesterfield Towne Center consistently for the past few weeks, and every single time, I’ve been warmly greeted by Michael. Whether it's a cheerful “Where have you been?” or “I haven’t seen you in a while,” his friendly and familiar energy makes walking through those doors such a joy. Even when I was just there the week before, he still made me feel like a valued guest.

Michael creates such a positive and inviting atmosphere—it truly transforms the shopping experience. As a realtor, I often look for creative giveaway items, and during one visit, I spotted some beautiful bottles that would be perfect. When I mentioned this to Michael, he didn’t hesitate. He said, “We’ve got a few more in the back,” and came out with not just a few, but eight boxes! When I asked if there were more, he smiled and said, “I got you,” and came back with the rest. Thanks to him, I was able to purchase them all—and left with a cart full of treasures and a heart full of gratitude.

Michael also remembered that I love gardening (how sweet) and kindly reminded me that the potato slips had arrived. I was so excited I practically ran to get them! His thoughtfulness and attentiveness go above and beyond.

I honestly don’t know what I’d do if Michael wasn’t at the ReStore. He is the heart of that location—kind, gracious, and always ready to help. He makes every visit worthwhile, and his presence is a true gift to the community. Thank you, Michael, for always going the extra mile (just for me :) I know for everyone who enters the store!”

“This is one of my favorite thrifts in the area! I've always had friendly experiences with the staff and the items are reasonably priced. There are no fitting rooms, so do keep this in mind!

**While they do write on items with a marker, it's a marker that is easy to remove! I just get a damp paper towel and you can get it off**”

“I just left with 2 designer men's blazers for $12.00. The sweet lady behind the counter helped me to choose the correct size and was so cheerful and pleasant. Thank you, Miss Carolyn. You're awesome.”
