“I've taken multiple vehicles to these guys and each time is a breeze. Today they just installed 8 tires on 2 of my vehicles and 2 alignments, very quick. I'd like to note that they used a click type torque wrench to set the lug nut torque by hand, which seems to be a lost art.”
“Service was great, they called me twice a week to keep me updated and repairs only took a little more than a week. I took my Civic Type R 2021 and they did a good job on the rear bumper. They also did a good job of cleaning the interior and exterior, and wheels too which was a nice surprise!
The final finish had some slight orange peel and the fitment of the bumper was close to OEM, and the color was matched pretty well, I would come back if needed. I would say that they did great!!
Service was quick and professional, clean inside the building and interesting selection of automotive magazines.”

I went with a 2024 Honda Civic EX-L. I told Emilio my choice of make, model and trim along with my choices of color. The Mechanicsville Honda team went to work and they were able to find my exact make, model and color choice quickly.
If I had any questions, Emilio was kind enough to answer questions via text and was happy to accommodate my work schedule.

“While things change, Ian Treglown, the owner has had his doors open for 25 years. You only get to keep your doors open that long (on that Jeff Davis corridor) if you understand your clientele. Brake Stop's philosophy is to "get you back on the road" without trying to sell you a bunch of junk that you do not need. Ian is honest to a fault. “Battery died went in to see if we could get it charged (they do it for free) while waiting for it to charge we explained what was wrong Kemal said it could possibly be our alternator. He didn't have to do this but the fact that he did is why I gave it a five-star review he took a look and found that it wasn't the problem it was the serpentine belt we bought a part in he replaced it for us. Amazing experience he was super nice we are looking into getting a lot fixed on our car we got quoted 2,000 for everything that needed done after we were finished replacing the belt he gave us his card and said he could take a look and could give us as quote that should be much less expensive. ??”
“I’ve used them for a couple of years now but what really earned them the five stars is when my tire blew out on the highway and I had to get my car towed there in the middle of the night. The next day it was musical-cars for me. Nothing. Went as planned except for Discount Tires. They were efficient, friendly, and communicative. However, what surprised me was they didn’t charge me anything. I thought it was a mistake. I told them this isn’t a car we’ve ever brought in (new car - we’ve brought in others). They told me that they don’t charge for a simple flat. Now, I don’t know if that’s because they know I’m a customer or if they do that for everyone. Either way, it definitely sets the right tone and keeps me as a satisfied customer.”
