“We were on vacation and about 20 miles from our destination when our car started acting up. I'm not much of a mechanic, but I was positive it was the transmission. Nothing $5,000.00 wouldn't fix. We had to get a rental car. We took our car to Aamco and they said the couldn't look at it for a week. No problem. 2 days later, they called and it wasn't the transmission. They recommended a shop. Friends got it there and in a couple of days it was ready. Prime situation for a rip-off job. They had a chance to rip me off, but darn it, they had to be honest. I wouldn't go to any other company for transmission work!”

First Team is a locally owned Subaru dealership that offers exceptional service and products. I have dealt with the service and parts department on an older car and felt very informed and taken care of by this dealership. I bought a 22 Outback from them and recently bought a 26 Outback and the car buying experience was, in a word, wonderful. I do not usually feel comfortable in car dealerships but this place is different to me.
If you are shopping for a car you will get great service at this location and may I personally recommend John Spensieri as your sales consultant.
I absolutely recommend you see Jawan Norris in the service department if you need service, tell him what you want and don't want and he will try to make it work for you.

They quoted less than half of that, and were extremely accommodating in getting my car in quickly and providing same day repairs. I ended up only needing front brakes, so it ended up being even cheaper than their original quote, and I really appreciate the honesty. Rene is a gem! Even though it was a hike (I live in Norfolk), I would absolutely use them again in the future!”

“Engine was misfiring, took it to dale at around 5:30 pm. He called the next day and said the cylinder coil and spark plugs needed changed. I told him to go ahead and I got my car back in working order next day at 4:00 PM. Very reasonable prices and I felt taken care of.”

Turn around was within the business day and we were on our way. “If our alternator had to stop working on a 10 hr trip back to DE we’re glad it was in Suffolk.At 12:30 pm on Saturday our car was dying.Idiot lights on the dash were showing low power mode because the alternator was going.I called one place and no answer and another said they couldn’t help us.I called AJ’s and Jeremiah said he could help us and to bring it down.Fortunately he said he was only 5 mins away from where we had stopped(Wendy’s on 58).Driving there our warning lights were saying the car could stall!!
We made it safely.Then Jeremiah,Vinnie and Jamie figured put the best way to help us and quickly got to work.Jeremiah made phone calls and kept us updated on their progress the whole time.We spent 4 hrs sitting in their waiting area and they made us feel very comfortable and relaxed.Nice to see hardworking young men who take pride in their work.Highly recommend AJ’s if you are passing through Suffolk and find yourselves with car problems please look them up!Let’s support our small businesses.Jeremiah is a Navy Vet too!The locals are lucky they have a reliable place to go!”
