“This seems like a flagship store for dollar general. After being sorely disappointed with another store that used to be nice this one blew me away. Fully and neatly stocked. It was huge too. I deeply regretting not having come here first when I did my shopping at the other store. Even though this is out of my way I will be coming here from now on.”
“The guy at the register had an attitude problem and was very slow. It's like he didn't even know how to work the machine.Update: they now have someone at the register so self checkout is an option instead of the only option. The person at the register was pleasant, competent, and had a much better attitude than I did when I wrote the first review about self checkout.”

“Big Lots in Vinton is now well organized and clean. Open walkways wide enough for a wheelchair or walker. I am looking forward to doing more shopping there. The staff was friendly, approachable AND knowledgeable!”
