“I was here for a day pass. It was very humid even in the lobby. They have life jackets you can borrow. The real downside is that the lifeguards are super duper strict. Otherwise it is worth the money.”

“I had a great stay at the Sleep Inn in Williamsburg. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered excellent value for the area. The check-in staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. While the breakfast was basic, it was decent enough to start the day. Overall, if you're looking for a simple, no-frills hotel that's clean and budget-friendly, this is a solid choice.”

The location was convenient for getting around, and we really appreciated the quiet, relaxing atmosphere after long days out. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and was fresh and tasty. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and we would happily stay here again and recommend it to others. Maite was such a sweet host and helped us get situated in a timely manner.”

“Front desk staff was not as welcoming as I am accustomed with IHG during registration. The cleaning and maintenance staff was very efficient, good and friendly. Our room was very clean with many close by amenities: shopping, restaurants and other attractions.”

“Located in the middle of everything. Great location. You can hear the horse and carriage on the street. You can see up and down Duke of Gloucester St. It is very nice to take a walk around the colonial area at night. I have also stayed in the Chiswell Bucktrout House and the location of the Market Square Tavern Room is MUCH better. Staff at the Williamsburg Inn are always top notch. Rooms are a bit quirky and that is too be expected but the shower in the room was a bit too much.”

“From the moment we arrived until check out, the service was very good. All the employees were friendly and courteous!Nearby activities: Just off the beaten path so remote while at the same time only minutes away from everything in Colonial Williamsburg or Bush Gardens.Food & drinks: Made to order breakfast was superb!! Be it cereal for children or fresh fruits, bacon, and eggs for adults! ?? Coffee ☕️ on hot round the clock.Evening reception with snacks and drinks nightly.”

“I haven’t even arrived yet and I know I’m coming to five star service thank you to everybody who reviews and let me know that I was calling a good motel in the first place but I’m just here to confirm. Yes, they’re wonderful.”

“Amazing experience on beautiful grounds. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and although it’s more of an”luxury” resort, the price was fair- half of the cost per night of a competing resort I viewed. The breakfast was amazing and the staff again at their lobby “restaurant” Elements was amazing. Right down the road from bush gardens and it looked like interconnecting condos/units was possible although I did not need or purchase that option. Very spacey, I’d estimate about 1200 square feet or slightly more with a full kitchen, living room, dining room, and separate area for the bedroom.”

“Katrina for the Win! You know a quality place when the staff truly cares about special needs and does something substantial to assist you! And the rooms and bathrooms are clean and room service is quick and efficient. Staff interactions have been pleasant and responsive to our requests. Oh and there is a beautiful pool to enjoy as well!”

“The staff is great. I have to give a huge shout out to the breakfast staff! Great job! I hope you are appreciated. Also the cleaning staff. Thank you! My bed was comfortable, breakfast was great! Eggs, diced potatoes, sausage, bagels etc. Thanks for caring!”

“As others have said, not really cell signal at the Inn, however you can log into wifi and it's better! We loved the quiet environment all around the base and even enjoyed driving around in the evening and morning to see all the critters out (deer, squirrels, skunks, ground hogs, rabbits, etc). The room set up was like a mini apartment with a kitchenette as soon as you walk in the door and separate rooms for the living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Made it nice with the kids, so they could watch tv while we got ready for bed, morning, etc.. The bed was comfy and the sofa also could turn into a bed. The front desk employees were super nice! I loved the coffee availability & the travel brochures in lobby also. Just wish that the restaurant was open on the weekends or there was some sort of snacks/ drinks available, since the NEX has weird hours and not a lot of things around that area. Overall was a great stay and my kids want to go back!”

“Great for an overnight stay. Price was under $60 with tax. Can’t beat it. It’s no resort, but if you’re just looking for a clean place to sleep, I’d surely recommend it.

We were just traveling through. Only at the hotel for about 12 hours total. Easy check in. Park in front of room. Room was older, but very clean. Carpet looked newer, shower while not modern looked updated. Looked like new caulking in the shower and inside the bathroom. Only minor downfall was the drop ceiling tiles. A couple were stained/falling apart. Not really a big deal though.

Beds were decent. Pillows good. Pool I didn’t go to, but there was one which is great for this price point. Looked nice lit up at night though. Grounds seemed well kept. Quick efficient check in and check out.

Breakfast was very minimal, but once again have to consider cost. Coffee, sunny d, cereal, toast, mini muffins. Just had a coffee which was good. Didn’t start until 8 which was kind of late, but not missing much if you head out before that.

Once again, this isn’t somewhere I’d prefer to stay if I was going to be in my room a lot. But if you’re just mostly going to be sleeping and moving on or visiting the area (close to Busch gardens/colonial Williamsburg) it would be a great spot. I would have no issues staying here again next time passing through at this price point.”

“EXCELLENT front desk staff, take the level of this hotel up a notch. Fairly basic rooms, but clean and functional. Good location with easy access to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. We were there with a soccer team for a tournament and they handled our needs well. The staff were especially friendly and personable and created a feeling like a B&B by showing sincere interest in each guest. It was the difference between an impersonal, adequate stay and feeling like the hotel was home base during our stay.”

“Always a great experience at this hotel. I have been coming here for a couple of years now. The staff is very professional... my husband and i came & had a problem with the pump motor in our jacuzzi room & we called downstairs & the guy was very on top of it. He moved our rooms immediately and solved it the best he could. We will definitely be back here.”

“Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Two issues were the website says there's a pool however it has not been in use since COVID. Also ice machine was not in use. Overall nice experience and would book there again.”

“Friendly and professional staff, room clean, beds comfortable, pool was open and was clean and a little warm ?. Breakfast was basic but enough variety and amount to get you going in the morning. People who complain about this hotel are the petty, entitled and privileged ones that expect perfection. Thanks to this hotel for making our stay very comfortable”

“Really enjoyed our stay! Being 6 minutes away from busch gardens was a huge plus. Breakfast was phenomenal each day per hotel breakfast standards. The drapes in our room had small holes due to average wear and tear but other than that there are no complaints coming from us.”

“Great rates, decent furniture although bed a little soft, nice shower. Breakfast was simple. Only issues I had in my end unit was wi-fi barely reached and door would not lock shut easily. Better than older motels in town i have used for about the same price. I'll be back”
