We have been here a few times and the thing that is most resonant is the knowledge of the owner and today, the owner was not there but the woman who was, was equally as knowledgeable!!! Most of the times we have visited have been we were looking for something in particular.. last night we had some big storms /high winds and one of our dogs kept us up all night. We wanted to purchase something to have in the house for the next time something like this happens. She actually recommended something that was out of stock. She explained why she preferred that product and then showed us another one which we purchased. It would be very easy to spend a lot of money in this little store! There have all the best toys, accessories, food and treats.. you name it for dogs (cats too) and they have it. Think quality products and it's here.. well behaved dogs welcome!

Our little guy is always excited the moment we pull up, which says everything about how comfortable and happy he feels there.

We were new in town and used to have a wonderful company come to us at our previous home, so needed a new place! I have been consistently happy with the full service grooming we’ve had done here! Imagine my surprise after a few months going here I learned that the owner here is the same one who used to own the service I used previously!
I love their new report card that they send out too, with pix of my Ivy girl and a little paragraph written by the stylist! That’s what I call wonderful customer service- not just doing the job well but doing some little extras that make us happy as a client!!

685 Peace Portal Dr, BlaineMy favorite stop on the west coast now. I had the sweet & smokey, spicy teriyaki, savory & bacon & blue- grilled. Also did a few raw oysters. The grilled oysters were harvested the day before & raw was same day. The flavors were absolutely fantastic and even the raw was great. Try to make the happy hour if you can. Make sure to try the local bread with butter- definitely worth it if they have it. This was my first time in Blaine, and zero doubt that I'll be back next time I travel near this area. Also loved that they're beers are local since that's what I look for.

The Railway Café
795 Peace Portal Dr, BlaineSuch a unique place with delicious food and so much character. All the pastries are delicious and freshly made. There is only street parking. Hardly ever a wait because they’re so efficient.
Only downside is that it is a small cafe so dining in can feel cramped. However , all the fun decor can easily take your mind off that.

The fish and chips were fresh, crispy, and absolutely delicious. Friendly service, relaxing atmosphere, and a perfect place to enjoy seafood with the ocean view. Highly recommended if you’re in Blaine and looking for great fish & chips!

Eleanor was absolutely lovely, and the blackberry cobbler coffee special might be one of the best coffees I've ever had. The store itself was really fantastic too. They had a bunch of offerings from local artists, with some beautiful watercolor prints, a bunch of handmade magnets and postcards, a selection of knitted goods, and a bunch of other stuff. I'll definitely be coming back at some point.

The food was great. New staff this year, they are great, just under staffed so service was slow but we were happy to wait. Looking forwarding to coming back.
