We have been here a few times and the thing that is most resonant is the knowledge of the owner and today, the owner was not there but the woman who was, was equally as knowledgeable!!! Most of the times we have visited have been we were looking for something in particular.. last night we had some big storms /high winds and one of our dogs kept us up all night. We wanted to purchase something to have in the house for the next time something like this happens. She actually recommended something that was out of stock. She explained why she preferred that product and then showed us another one which we purchased. It would be very easy to spend a lot of money in this little store! There have all the best toys, accessories, food and treats.. you name it for dogs (cats too) and they have it. Think quality products and it's here.. well behaved dogs welcome!

685 Peace Portal Drive, BlaineOne of my family’s favorite local spots. Fresh oysters every day. A board that tells you exactly how long it took for them to get from the bay to you.. even if you bring your kids and they don’t like seafood, they have chicken strips and delicious french fries. The view is absolutely amazing. My favorite part is the weekday special between three and five. Two dollar oysters and two dollars off beers. I recommend the fish tacos. Sitting inside of the restaurant there can be a lot of flies, but that also comes with the territory of having fresh seafood so regular. Doors are always open and they have a garage door type opening as well so it definitely makes sense.

9565 Semiahmoo Parkway, BlaineWe enjoyed a truly lovely evening on our kayaking tour with Levi. Several curious harbor seals followed us throughout the paddle, and it was fascinating to watch them play and study us as much as we were studying them. We also observed several species of birds along the way, adding even more beauty and interest to the experience.
Levi shared a great history lesson of the area, and we learned so many fun and unexpected facts. He’s an excellent guide—knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about the local marine life. He showed us how to respectfully experience the incredible sea creatures around us. We saw vibrant sea stars while paddling through the piers and some impressively large jellyfish near Semiahmoo Resort.
Levi is a wonderful ambassador for both the Resort and the town of Blaine. His tours add tremendous value to the guest experience and highlight the natural beauty of the region in a way few activities can. We’re excited to see his business grow and would love to see the Resort continue to support and expand these offerings. The area is perfectly suited for more guided water activities, and Levi is exactly the kind of person who can make them exceptional.
And to top it all off, he can do a headstand on his paddleboard in open water… genuinely impressive.
Highly recommend signing up for one of his kayaking tours and enjoying this beautiful area from a completely different point of view.
