My dog was transferred here from Boundary Bay Animal Hospital a couple of months ago because they could not give me any answers pertaining to my senior dogs severe stomach upset and vomiting. All Critters was able to give me a diagnosis almost immediately and give him proper medication and treatment allowing him recover. This hospital genuinely cares about your pet, is affordable, and all they want to do is help. I would recommend this animal hospital to anyone.

Years after that they have done the same for my dog when she had severe separation anxiety moving to a new home. Months later my other 14 year old cat (rutos sister) is having issues and they have been the sweetest to her and overwhelming caring. I have never felt such a great bond with my veterinarians. It's a comfort to me knowing they love our animals as much as we do.

Nora developed serious complications during labor and needed an emergency C-section in the middle of the night. Dr. Gurcharan Dhaliwal and the entire team treated our cat with professionalism, compassion, and urgency. They explained the situation honestly, answered our questions, and acted quickly when every minute mattered.
Thanks to their dedication, Nora came through surgery safely, and all of her kittens were delivered alive. Nora is now recovering at home, caring for her babies while we provide supplemental feeding as she heals.
We are deeply grateful to Dr. Dhaliwal, Gurpinder, Fatima, and everyone involved in Nora's care. Your kindness, skill, and compassion meant everything to our family.
We highly recommend Mainland Animal Emergency Clinic to anyone facing a veterinary emergency. Thank you for giving Nora and her kittens a second chance.

Her bedside manner is what sets her apart from other animal clinics i have attended. Her comments and advice towards my puppy left me knowing she truly cares for these animals wellbeing. One time I was in and she was hugging and consoling another person who had brought in their animal. Overall I found she is patient, knowledgeable, empathetic and friendly.

The space itself is beautiful and thoughtfully set up, with an outdoor covered patio and a grassy area that gives the dogs room to relax, play, and just be dogs.
What really stood out to me is how different it feels from your typical daycare. It’s not chaotic or overwhelming at all. Instead it feels peaceful, safe and genuinely caring. You can tell a lot of love and intention has gone into creating a space that’s both fun and comfortable for the dogs.
It’s truly unlike any other daycare I’ve seen and I would absolutely trust Mimi with my dog. ?

The owners have dedicated many years to the coffee industry and it shows, not to mention they are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet in your life. They have curated many specialty beans to try or purchase and their seasonal drinks are with in house made syrups. Their “real” PSL is a personal favourite… or maybe the naughty nog… ok I can’t choose, they’re all amazing. Very accommodating to dietary restrictions. They are located within a medical building but there is always free parking underground. Dare you to leave here without a smile :)

It was approaching 7pm and they closed at 7:30pm on a Friday which seems odd but I can't begin to imagine the struggles restraunts are having so not a huge issue. They probably also called as we had ordered horchatas so they probably wanted to make them fresh. We appreciated that.
They did not include or ask if we needed cutlery but perhaps thats on us for assuming it would be included. So our little picnic was disrupted when we had to drive to pick up cutlery.
By the time we ate, our food was a tad cooler than it should be but we accept responsibility for that as well. My husband's order was incorrect as he had ordered the Chile Relleno Buritto but received the Chile Rellano which was a stuffed pepper but the price was the same and he enjoyed it.
I had the wet burrito and due to having to go find cutlery the tortilla was almost like eating raw dough because it sat in the salsa verde and red sauce for some time. So I just ate the filling which was delicious.
We will definitely try it again but perhaps we'll eat in or be better prepared if we want to try a picnic again.
