“I'm from the Montréal area (in Canada if you're unfamiliar), and was visiting family in Seattle. This was my one wishlist activity - to get shoes that fit my extra wide feet from this store! I had excellent and courteous service, with knowledgable staff and they picked out possibilities for me straightaway. An absolute game-changer for me and my feet have never felt so good in shoes!! Can't recommend enough. Normally I can only special order shoes online and find they are difficult to find to begin with. This was an absolute dream come true.”
“They were cool l and stayed late to go through a large sale of stuff I had, I was skeptical because I had a lot of my pieces of my wardrobe that I spent a lot on but I needed some cash on the spot . They made me such a good deal and we’re cool about it too no pressure, no awkwardness about things they didn’t want I felt super comfortable and like I was given a great deal for my stuff. They had some amazing pieces as well it was really hard to not walk outa there with some gear. I’m definitely gonna be adding them to my list of go to places for gear. Thanks guys????”
“As a Big and Tall Guy this is my absolute spot for styles and clothing. Anything you could ever need as a Big person or a Tall person is here. Recently I bought a pair pants there to add to what I already have because the product is so high quality the previous pair I still have I bought almost 4 years ago and these things are like still brand and the best part is you can wash in the washer and place them in the dryer, No Wrinkles. If you are Big or Tall, or Both this the spot.”

“I can count on Woolly Mammoth to have the kind of high quality and comfortable shoes that I look for. Even better that I can look through their current selection online and see if they have something that might work for my specific needs. Yesterday I went in hoping to find a certain model and size of Dansko shoe. The clerk was immediately helpful and found what I was looking for. She watched carefully when I tried on the pair of shoes (strap at heel) and demonstrated expertise and knowledge of the shoes by her observations of how they fit. There was no high pressure sales pitches, just careful attention and feedback. When I choose shoes there, I’m never disappointed. You pay for what you get and you can be confident their products are worth it. I highly recommend Woolly Mammoth as one of the best enduring Seattle shoe stores.”

“This is the missexd connection section on craigslist right? Was looking for a hookups deck and was quickly informed they don't carry them. Later i came back and bought these early 2000's ass sunglasses. I waited in line for a long time then the same girl who answered my question before came, snagged me and rung me up in the back in the skate shop section. If anyone who works there sees this show it to her and I'll bump this Lil 4 to a 5. Her shirt was broken i think and her belly was showing. Someone drew on one of her arms, she used to skate but now has bad joints.. didnt ask how her joints got ran though...none of my business. “Taz took great care of us during our most recent visit. She expertly walked my wife through some “shoe secrets” to enhance her comfort (not to suggest Allbirds aren’t already exceedingly comfortable) and with that increased our “ring” at the till. My Tree Pipers are incredibly comfortable and stylish and my wife’s Tree Breezers are beautiful! All in all it is an excellent location with great sales staff. All of the products are represented and there is no “hard selling”. We have numerous pairs of shoes as well as hats, clothing & socks! Great products, great store, exceptional staff! “I had no idea this place existed but I'm so glad I found it! So I made an in-app purchase with a store pickup in Lynnwood since the downtown local is no longer. Trying to find the luggage dept was interesting but upon searching for it on the second floor I ran into this place called "Backstage." I know it sounds a little mafia-like ? and although things are scattered, kind of messy and disorganized, think..."Nordstrom level Ross" ? you can still find some great deals here for mid to high-end brand names. Who even knew this existed? After finding backstage I ended up returning the in-app purchase and ended up buying an in-store Black Friday deal on a Samsonite $400+ hardside carry-on I got for less than $200. Literally, Backstage is basically Macy's on a much smaller scale and a little bit crazier (like it's really hot mess). If you don't mind that and appreciate the savings then it's worth your visit.”

“It was 4pm on a Sunday and my boyfriend realized the suit he had did not fit and was in desperate need of something for the following day. We walked in and happened to find an absolutely amazing suit that retailed for over $1k on the clearance rack that fit perfectly. The older gentleman working that afternoon was extremely helpful, he had the pants hemmed to the perfect length within an hour of purchasing them (sorry I didn't get his name!).
We will be coming here first next time we need anything!”
“Great store with great selection but most importantly- AMAZING staff.
I had to walk in here with my very little kids in tow - something I’d normally never attempt - because I had a work trip coming up and just didn’t have another option. The staff here swooped in and helped me pick out some tops to try on, got the kids some Goldfish crackers to keep them busy, gave me the biggest changing room, and I was in and out within 20 minutes with 4 great work tops for my trip before any kids had a meltdown. I was prepared to struggle and apologize and feel lucky to get out of there with one shirt but these women just completely helped me out and I’m utterly grateful. Customer for life! I won’t shop anywhere else now!”
“The Good part of this store is that they have a great selection of shoes, probably the best in the area. The bad part is that they are overpriced. They are probably one of the most expensive in the area ( if you don't have a coupon) . The staff are friendly
and helpful.
Pro tip: Sometimes you can offset the cost with coupons, and occasionally you can find a deal. That's probably why I keep coming back.”

“Tonight was busy and one young guy helped me out tremendously.
From finding shoes in the back, carrying 5 boxes of shoes back and forth, changing model #'s b/c some are narrow, others are wide, and oddly sizes run small then large from different styles. He helped with all of them.
Found a pair that fit better in black yet I normally prefer brown, the fitment won the tossup and maybe brown will be in the future or I may have to shop online.
The entire crew there was genuinely nice and helpful while customers were all over, kids everywhere, mayhem in the isle and they kept it neat and tidy the whole time.
I wish the stores had better shoe horns, yet they at least had a tiny one. Seems like something they'd have tethered up to the stools.
Also, not taking a star away yet there aren't enough benches to try on shoes here. They have them but they're a single tiny cube and everyone's basically either trying to bogart it with leaving boxes on it or there's a line, or we're all trying on shoes while standing up.
Overall, this is a great store, great people working there dealing with a LOT of clients and the selection is more than I expected.”
