“My fave place to shop! Happy families, friendly to talk to. Happy employee owners. The produce is fabulous and very inexpensive. The meats and cheeses are great! Bulk spices are so very inexpensive. I gave up on paying $5-$9 for jars of spices when I can get the same amount for 35c !!! I hate to expose my secret Happy Place but everyone deserves a break. ?”
“Knowledgeable and professional staff, great stock of new and surplus/'ding and dent' machinery, with excellent prices. Whenever a friend needs a drill press, woodworking machinery, or a good vice I send them here. They often have metal lathes and horizontal bandsaws as well. Last visit I bought a large I-beam trolley for about half the price of the competition.”
“I picked up product at will call this morning and was really happy with the experience. Caleb was efficient, safe, polite, and used great common sense with a really weird sized pallet. While I’m at it, my whole experience at CFM has been favorable. From Cabinet design by Kerri, to flooring, countertops, and shower walls with Robin. “Great place we frequent for Italian and other fun European imports and specialty foods and great bulk spices and flours. Fresh/frozen pastas including ravioli and tortellini are our family faves. And their incredible cheese counter, fresh feta and delicious olive selections are unsurpassed! We’ve shopped a lot in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco and Big John’s (PFI’s) selection is as good - or may I just say it - superior to many of the Italian shops there. Plus super friendly staff who really know their stuff here. Once we found our way to their new Dearborn location ( underground parking, then circuitous hallway leading to the store) we decided that although change can be difficult after 30 years of shopping at the same place, we actually really prefer the new store!”

“Didn't have what I needed in stock, but will order it for you and it gets there in a day or two.Great spot to grab all sorts of stuff from dairy, meat, seafood, fried mushrooms to candy to whatever.Anytime I have a big BBQ or crab boil my first stop is here as they can order you 10lb cases of king or snow crab for prices better than Costco or the grocery store. “Easy to access and parking, store with wide aisles and good selections; the fruit area can be improved as we seen, some bad fruits, oranges mixing in the box. Other than that you can easily buy what you looking for in bulk.”
