“Needed to pick up some tools for a quick project and did my research online the night before. Showed up to the site (didnt even know there was a more local spot) right at open and watched (who I assume the manager on 11/12 unlock the door right on time. Got in an out as the first customer and chatted with the friendly manager about how I didnt even realize maps was taking me to a closer spot and she said THEYVE BEEN OPEN FOR TWO YEARS ALREADY.

“I have been going to this ace hardware since they opened and have never been disappointed. On my list today was a chainsaw blade, and a few other items. As I was getting out of my car I noticed my car was not locking and figured my battery was dead in my key fob. A soon as I walked in Shannon was there at the counter found the proper battery and replaced it on the spot while I gathered my other items. I was in and out quickly and got everything I needed plus the new battery for my key. My expectations were exceeded and it will continue to be a regular store for me.”

“When you go to Harbor Freight you have a few considerations. Am I only going to use this tool once? Do I require keeping all 10 fingers or is 9 1/2 okay? At the same time knowing that you could be getting a decent tool or something that violates the law of physics with a restraining order against OSHA, but keeps you going back.”

They are one of the few remaining hardware business where there’s healthy group of employees who seriously know what they are talking about, a rarity, and have done what you’re doing. “If you want cheap, no knowledge, and probably not what you need, go to one of the big box stores. If you want knowledgeable people, fast service, and darn near any fastener/tool you could need come here. I came here to find one very weird fastener for an old piece of yard furniture. I gave one of the team the only copy I had and three minutes later I had exactly what I needed. I’ll be back here again.”
