“I've been a member of Sound CU for many years. It is rare that I have to go into the branch unless I am using it for specific purposes such as getting a loan which I did a couple of days ago.
The employees are always welcoming, the branch is clean and signing off on documents is relatively easy. Lastly, it is not as filled with requirements to get a good savings or loan rate as many CUs are now wanting so many debit card transactions to get the best rates. Rates on loans,.CDs and related options are always competitive and often better.
For routine banking needs or loans, look no further!”

“We've had an Alaska account for over 15 years now. We only go to the branch every 3-6 months so aren't the most knowledgeable about this branch, but never have had a problem. Tellers have always been friendly, and had to pull out some fairly large amounts for down payments, etc, and they've always had enough on hand. Had a jumbo money market account that didn't have very high interest, but was something and was easy to setup. Eventually moved elsewhere to get higher yields. Would be more convenient if there were more locations but can't win them all..”

“Always receive friendly, great service but getting to the one person in the enclosed office is 50/50. The second desk is the reason for the star off. It is as private at the Starbucks walk up counter just no coffee.
Even the contact your teller on the ATM seems quite exposed.
Very clean area that is appreciated.

“I came here for my first Auto loan, per my auto Dealer's recommendation for the best interest rate. My bank person, Iconic, truly lived up to their name!
They were fun to work with and was honest about anything they werent sure about. When we mentioned how the car needed to be started up with jumper cables, they strongly recommended that we asked the dealer for a new battery upon signing (to which they obliged ?).
They also felt that the price of the car was fair for it's age, which was reassuring.
The process took a little longer than expected but we had some shopping to do across the street anyway, so it all worked out really well. Iconic was very helpful with the application process, to ensure that I was approved.

“I opened an account here 8 or 10 years ago. Hard to remember, but one thing isn't. Verity was welcoming, easy and very manageable. I was invited to speak with financial analysts to help with any future planning I had in mind. They were quick to help with any questions i've had, in person, over the phone or via the app/website messaging feature. The app is easy to use, the website has a great breakdown.
There are a lot of 1 star reviews on here stating some pretty intense frustration. Maybe stop and think what really happened there. Verity has never done wrong to myself or anyone I know who use them. I moved to NY and I still use them because of the service they provide. I'd be tickled pink if they ever moved East.”

Rhys was communicative & professional in his respect for our needs, privacy, and schedule. I heartily recommend the bank and this branch, and commend them on the quality of their staff, as well as the excessive height of their ceiling. The print quality of the cards minted onsite, however, is poor. I encourage you to inspect your card for legibility and print quality before leaving with it.”

The cashier’s checks at Global CU are only $2 which is a better deal too.”
