“The people who work there are friendly and inviting. I appreciate the kindness atmosphere because I don’t look like the typical Finnish person.
Good variety of foods, drinks, desserts, snacks, meats cheese, fruits and vegetables.
My favorite area is the teas! The vibe is slow and easy, feels very different than most grocery stores.

“I enjoy going to H&L because it’s such an enjoyable experience. The produce is fresh, and the variety is incredible. So many choices to choose from, especially apples! There is also an amazing assortment of cheeses, wines, and other beverages. Last but not least there is butcher shop and a great selection of seafood! And don’t forget to grab some kettle corn!

“I've been going to this place for 8 years with my family and never had a bad experience. The staff are super chill, know pretty much every price off the top of there head and are just AWESOME! Best part is that they get products that are sometimes harder to find in even grocery stores where they're more seasonal like star fruits and mangoes.

“I have been going to this store for a few years now. I absolutely love all the eployees. When I shopped there the other day I was shocked to see all new staff. They were really nice but I assumed that the new owners got rid of the original employees because I asked the girl at the counter where Tim was and she didn't know who I was talking about. Because of this assumption I gave them one star but since the owner kindly replied that they did keep all the original staff that wanted to stay I am very happy now and I will continue to recommend this store. All good quality produce for $48. The pineapple was ready to be cut open same-day, the cherries were bomb. They cut the corn on the cob for me. They have such great customer service. I’m happy with the new ownership.”

“Stopped in while renting a house nearby for our fall vacation. Man behind the counter was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They offer a nice variety of food, beverages, snack, etc. The parking area is small, but not too bad for a quick stop. They also offer gas 24 hours a day, which can come in handy. Prices are pretty standard for a small market. I'm sure we'll be back during our week stay.”

“Love 2 of the 3 people that work here. They really do have a big variety of things, but often I find things that are expired. Like Lunchables/cold food and crackers/chips. This was one of the only places during covid that I could consistently buy toilet paper, and you really can find pretty much anything here.”
“Do 99.9 percent of shipping here good meat market and meat sales,and get your gas pts and I have saved up to a dollar off each gallon of gas lots of times ,shop there ,to receive gas pts then buying gas don't hurt so bad”

“I love the fruit here. The place is rarely busy. Most of the staff is friendly. They're mainly younger and spend a lot of time talking amongst themselves and don't acknowledge the customers. Two girls were talking and I said "excuse me" because I had a question and one girls just walked away. The girl that ended up helping me was new there but was very friendly and helpful.”

The bulk section prices are incredibe and is my absolute favorite section of the store.
