“The Shell station out here is one of our sole options for gasoline and other quick stop needs as far as "in town" goes. I prefer the Shell station out here on key peninsula highway 10 to 1 because of the friendly service and familiarity. Everything you might need on the fly is available at a fairly prices reasonable price. The only thing I would disagree with is the markup on animal food as far as things I have gotten from the shell. That by far is the worst price of ever seen for a bag of cat food $20 for 6 lb bag. Understanding it's a convenience store in a fairly remote area. I understand price markups however that seems a bit ridiculous.”

“I am not sure of his name. Your employee, big guy, young. He has been so attentive! He delivers gas without calling him. Just remember when we are about due. He came again today, but we are moving, so we did not fill. I would hire this conscientious young man in a flash. If you people are smart, you will give him more responsibility. “Wonderful gas station, came here to get a couple snacks and a slushee to cool down a bit during my work day and had the pleasure of having a nice conversation with the lady working the store and the snacks were sooo well priced I couldn't believe it!! 3 pizza stix for 3.69 I believe it was!!! That's a steal! :) I pass by quite often and will have to swing in more to try some of the chicken I was told about ?”

“Handy place to fuel between the Narows bridge and Port Orchard. Although yesterday they had quite a few pumps out of service, which made it take longer than normal. Fuel is less expensive here than at the name brand stations.”

“Great place, always clean and well stocked, pride of ownership evident by the local family. Staff always friendly and nice. Excellent selection of beer, wine, and all sorts of munchies. Free air pump. That alone has earned my business. Only place we buy gas unless we are out of town.”

“The staff hear are good people especially if you get to know them. Every business has employees that are more friendly, customer oriented, and professional than others as is this place but the entire staff have always been respectful and helpful. The owners are also really good people if you get to know them, extending their help way beyond your expectations of your local convenient store owners. I can't begin to say the help they've offered to give my family. They were also involved with local food banks as they would donate overstock and whatever else they could on a weekly basis. Unfortunately there is a lot of shenanigans that comes & goes every once in a while but they deal with such matters as professionally as possible. Before you submit a bad review, keep all the above in mind. Frankly anyone can leave a bad review because of 1 encounter that may not meet their personal standards. 1 review for 1 bad day, and leave poor comments to bash them on everything they think is wrong Nobody takes the time to give them a good review on the things they do right. Keep up the good work guys. I'll always be a loyal friend and customer to all my 4 Corners gang!”

“I love my GH Safeway! I love all the food selections and for the most part prices are good too. The store's staff are ALL great! Always sincerely cheerful, asking how they can help you, then physically helping you with getting full grocery carts to your car, etc. The friendly guys at the meat & seafod counters go out of their way to help you-same for lady in the bakery. Most staff walk you to the right place when you're looking for an item. Customer Service & mgrs. are top notch & if can't solve your issue directly try to make up for it with a little gift card. The store is clean and well organized. My only suggestions/constructive criticism: I do miss having Quest labs there! One blond lady in Pharamcy seems to always be "unhappy & impatient"? Safeway bakery breads are not as good as they used to be, i.e. sourdough not much flavor (did they change recipes?) & at times store is missing items or has empty shelves but I undertstand the supply chain issues, etc. going on right now for many. FYI I have tried the new Met Market across the street & it may be "pretty" but I'll stick with my Safeway for selections, helpful staff and prices! Thank you.”

“Gig Harbor’s secret Mexican street tacos- not so secret now!Nestled inside this gas station is an awesome spot to grab fresh street tacos- radish, cilantro, onion, lime included!Added bonus- a fresh salsa and condiment bar. With the “platter” you get pinto beans and delicious rice. It brought me to just over 10 bucks. ? Which is way better than most restaurants that tout “street tacos” and they tasted better, too! (Choice of meats: Asado, ground beef, pork, chicken)There’s also every imaginable fried food ready to go. That will have to wait. Because me and the tacos are gonna be good friends. ? ? ?”
