“As I ventured to Costco Gas in Tacoma amidst the morning rain, little did I know I was in for a trifecta of hilarity at the pump. Here are three tales from my gas-guzzling escapade that left me in stitches.Firstly, a comical episode unfolded as a determined seagull attempted to claim the title of "Guardian of the Gas Pump." With squawks of defiance, it swooped down, attempting to scare off any unsuspecting drivers who dared to approach the pump. Just as I was about to fill up my tank, a rogue cart decided to break free from its corral and embark on a solo journey across the parking lot. Dodging cars and narrowly avoiding collisions, it provided a slapstick chase that had bystanders holding their breath – and their laughter.Lastly, a lighthearted debate erupted among fellow patrons over the eternal question: "To squeegee or not to squeegee?" As drivers attempted to clean their windshields, a spirited discussion ensued about the merits of a streak-free finish versus the inevitable smudges left behind.Despite the rain, Costco Gas in Tacoma delivered not just fuel but a side-splitting spectacle of everyday absurdity. “So today I stopped in to get gas and coffee and some snack for work today. My card was declined for some reason. I was in my car on hold with customer service when the little girl behind the counter comes out with my coffee and my breakfast. I said oh was it approved. Did it go through? She said no ma'am. I just didn't want to see you go without your coffee this morning. This brought tears to my eyes. This young lady went above and beyond. She is sweet and kind and has a smile for anyone who walks through the door. She brightened my day and brought a smile to my face”

“I had an engine light come on and stated my exhaust gas recirculation valve was malfunctioning because of being dirty...I used the premium gas and after a couple days the engine light went off...when I fill up my car I look for the nearest Shell station on gas buddy”

“One of the better places in area if not the best. Never had an issue with the store. The gas prices are usually the best around.Do not use the AIR pump, waste of money and you lose more air then it pumps.Has become my local gas stop. Unlike other neighboring stations. People don't sit outside asking for gas and money here. And if they did, they don't stay.While the deli type food is hit or miss, the store has a nice selection of items that make any road trip more enjoyable.The area isn't the best, but this store actually tries verses their sister locations.”
“This is a great had station tucked away from the hustle and bustle that is Tacoma. When I get gas there is no attendant there, but I've had no issues there so it's ok.”
“I find that the gas is cheapest here in Tacoma and it's always a very big line to get your gas so if you wanted to make quick stop to get gas don't come here there's always a line. But if you have time this is the place to go to get your gas.”

Additionally, I trusted that their inspection was thorough. An air filter needed replacing and they replaced it on the spot! Plus their prices were really good!Service: Vehicle Inspection”

“Updating review. Customer Services reached out almost immediately and offered a coupon for another wash. I was also unaware of their policy that you can go through again if the car wasn't cleaned the first time. I will say that I've been through other washes with similar dirt and bird droppings, and only had to go through once. But aside from the hassle of having to go through multiple times, at least they do let you go through until the car is clean.”

“Stopped here only long enough to fill a gas can full of gas for the lawn mower. The station appeared clean & the clerk inside was pleasant. It was 20¢ cheaper/gallon of gas here than across the street @ the station in Albertson's. I know that other station allows reward points to discount gas prices. This seems wrong, imo, since that 'reward' of cheaper gas only makes the gas the same price as the other gas stations.The price @ this station was pretty consistent w/ the average prices in the area.”

“Every AMPM or Arco is whichever one you would like to call it that I have visited in the crater Tacoma area or Pierce county area are always great the employees are always welcoming I can't remember when the last time was that I had even in one little small issue with an employee at AMPM or Arco they're very understanding they were giving very accepting very warm and like I said I can't remember when I had an issue at an payment or an Arco last time in the greater Tacoma area or really the Pierce county”
“This is apparently the only Safeway fueling station in Santa Rosa. That said it's a busy place but I have no complaints. When I buy Safeway groceries I use the substantial gas discounts I get. Very welcome in these inflation plagued times.”

“Owner and employees are very nice. They even ordered SPECIAL FLAVORS of Ben 'n Jerry's when I asked them about whether or not they had control over which flavors they get. The owner said "Write down on this paper which ones you want and I will get them next time"!!!On top of this generosity, one time I was "low on money" and the owner allowed me to buy a pack of cigarettes ON A LOAN. I paid him back when I was able to, and thanked him heavily.”

“I love stopping here for a shine up on my car but the ONLY thing I hate is them taping my back windshield wiper.
