“The prices are great. That people are great but they need to build the gas station somewhere else or revitalize it where it's easier to get in and out of the parking lot”
“Best-priced gas pretty much anywhere, but unfortunately they have some of the ghettoest customers. Too often while filling up, your ears are assaulted by all the inconsiderate punks, between their loudass systems rattling everything nearby, or them peeling out of the parking lot with their noisyass oversized tailpipes. Try to go during "off hours" to avoid dealing with the riffraff.”
“I had truly exceptional customer service at this car wash. Brandon W. was beyond outstanding and helpful, he even fitted my license plate with a metal sleeve/holder so that it won’t bend in the future- free of charge. Good customer service is hard to come by these days and Brandon W. was absolutely exceptional.
Also, Markell operating the register was so warm and has the best energy. Great vibes.
I hope the owners and management understand what talent they have— it’s the workers that make or break a business like this. I don’t often write reviews but I was really touched with how wonderful Brandon W. was to me.
Will definitely be back!”

“I can't exactly put my finger on it...But I love this gas station...? The cashier's are all usually fairly nice & their gas prices too!..It gets a little hectic & pretty busy at the worlds regular "to & from" work hours. So if u gotta go inside, the line time can be a longer then what u think it'd be...BUT!..It's awesome that the tire air-up machine has always been in working condition every time I've went to use it!..???”

“I tried this gas station on my way north to visit family. The price was good. Under $4. When on a road trip, I try to avoid stops which are far from the freeway or difficult to get back onto it. This wasn't bad at all, and there was no wait for gas.”
“The mechanics here are very friendly and knowledgeable, bringing up any potential issues/concerns as they go so you're always updated on the status of your vehicle. Definitely a gem of a spot.”

I've been a loyal Safeway customer for years, and one of the biggest reasons I stick with you is the fuel points program. But since moving to Tacoma, I’ve noticed that none of the Safeway gas pumps here allow customers to redeem their points at the pump—you have to go inside and ask the cashier. It’s inconvenient, especially when other locations I’ve lived in, like Bellevue and Bothell, have fully functioning systems that let you redeem points directly at the pump.
This might seem like a small issue, but it adds up—and it feels like another example of how Tacoma, a lower-income and more diverse city, is often overlooked when it comes to basic upkeep and customer experience. Why is this acceptable here, but not in wealthier, whiter neighborhoods?
It’s not a good look. I’m asking Safeway to address this directly and bring Tacoma locations up to the same standard. Tacoma deserves better.”
“Close to home and always open. Stays pretty clean and lit up. be careful thou of thieves and sketchy people. there has been several robberies there, people stealing purses from peoples cars while they are pumping gas.”

“Updating review. Customer Services reached out almost immediately and offered a coupon for another wash. I was also unaware of their policy that you can go through again if the car wasn't cleaned the first time. I will say that I've been through other washes with similar dirt and bird droppings, and only had to go through once. But aside from the hassle of having to go through multiple times, at least they do let you go through until the car is clean.”
“I go here often and I always get really great customer service. Never had a problem, except you do have to pay .50 if your purchase is under $12 with a debit/credit card.”

“This corporate location almost always gives us good service...but really the 5-star rating is mostly about them not having that stupid 40¢ upcharge wl just for using a debit or credit card. Not sure about you but I can't stand those stupid little extra fees.
Convenience stores are money makers ?. I just wish other stores should follow their example bc the nickel and dimeing customers in every way possible is kinda getting old. Even if they just raised their prices a couple of percentage points instead of the stupid fee it would feel a bit less punitive and petty...lol.

“The attendant was so nice. So friendly and kind. That makes a difference in my day. It really does. At this location there are a lot of people but there are a lot of pumps. I don't think I've ever had to wait to fuel up here. There is a mini store that you can go into similar to the fuel station on meridian.
Super easy to get in and out of. Clean. I like that there's always an attendant right there. Not a locations to do that. So you never have to wait for an attendant. I always use my fuel points so gas is a dollar less a gallon. Love that. I saved $17 on my fill-up today. Conveniently located. I noticed There were no panhandlers - in the entire parking lot at Safeway when I was there. Either there's a glitch in The matrix or they're cracking down on it.”
“I love coming here to use my gas points. I always shop enough at Safeway to get a dollar off each time I fill up. It's always very quiet here. Like if I don't want to be bothered and I'm in a mood that I just want to be left alone, I know I can come here. Nobody is going to bother me and I can just go about my business in peace. I've never come here and been unable to get a gas pump right away. It's a smaller location but it stays busy. Sometimes I like that. The people who work here have always been really nice to me. Very helpful. They explain how to get my change back when I use a debit card inside. The guy that usually works there is super helpful. Patient. I get all of my gasoline at different Safeway locations and this is one of my favorites. It feels a lot safer than some of the other locations.”
“I go out of my way for this station. It's never too busy to get a pump and they don't have those vape catchers on the pump that nutritiously makes the pumping stop short or pop out while pumping.”

“For an Arco, I was pretty impressed. They had a large variety of both healthy and junk food things to choose from snack wise. They had a full functioning, scratch ticket and lottery tickets available, and the facilities were quite clean, including the grounds and the gas pumps themselves good job you guys.”

“I stop by this Arco often, friendly staff, always let me use the bathroom if and when I need to unlike other gas stations that give people a hard time for needing to use the restroom, they also keep it pretty clean inside and out.”
“This local gas station is one of the best in the area. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome, whether you’re just fueling up or grabbing something from the shop. The pumps are well-maintained, and I rarely have to wait in line.
What really stands out is how clean and organized everything is — including the restrooms. Prices are fair, and it's nice to support a locally owned business that clearly takes pride in good service.
Highly recommend stopping here if you're nearby — it’s a small place that does things right!”
