Sehmel Homestead Park is a massive and very beautiful park that is very well maintained. It is a big park with a little bit of everything. It features tons of walking and running trails, a really big kids playground, a nice basketball court, and multiple sports fields including really nice, large, and clean soccer, football, baseball, and softball fields with great turf. The facilities are great and kept up well. The park is really popular and can be very full, especially when there are games or tournaments. Parking is adequate with plenty of parking spots and an extra back overflow lot, but the spots fill up pretty quickly and you may have to drive around a little. The park also hosts events like concerts, art festivals, and tournaments, which sometimes include food trucks and shuttle services. It is a beautiful place for sports, play, and community gatherings.

We come for kids sports but the playground at the park is really big and the kids love it. The soccer, football, and baseball fields are all really nice, large, and clean. Has an extra back parking lot for over flow.
