“Sometimes I write a review not because a place has yummy food, but simply because the place is AWESOME! Pacific Power Batteries on the east portion of Totem Lake is such a place. My big screen TV died exactly two months after the warranty ended. Other than buying a new one, we want to responsibly recycle the broken TV. Online searches led us to here. I always have some hesitation coming to a private business such as this instead of, say, a King County transfer station. Will they have hidden fees, will they try to sell you something, will they point to a bin and tell us (not strong people) to fit it in somehow??? Well, let me tell you how EASY it was.
We arrived and parked. We walked in and said we like to recycle a flat screen TV. He said, “No problem. I’ll even help you unload.” My jaw dropped a bit. We filled out a single line on a form. We opened the trunk. This taller and stronger than us guy singlehandedly took the TV out of our car, brought it inside, and gently placed it standing vertically on its edge in an open-top box lending against another big screen TV. That was it. Free! No cost! I was so shocked at how easy it was that I forgot to take any pictures. He was brilliant. Thank you!”
“This Ballard location is on point! Regular staff that have been at this location over a year really make a difference. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. I drive across town to visit this store.”
“I received exactly the help I was looking for here. I sought advice about what sort of products I could get to touch up my exterior, and a someone with clearly years of experience came out to walk around my car and offer practical, usable advice.
I’m typically someone who will spend hours watching YouTube and reading auto forums / Reddit for collective advice, but sometimes I really just want someone who’s been around the block to give me some direct guidance. And that’s exactly what I got here. I didn’t get the employee’s name, but thank you!”
“Buba the employee at this location was very patient when looking at types of oils and parts I needed. Big help he was when finding everything I needed. I’m talking a whole cart load of parts.”
“My car wouldn't start so I called to see if they had a battery for my car. They did. I watched a Youtube video to see if I could change out the battery myself but realized I don't have one of the tools needed. I called them back and asked if they could help me switch the batteries and they said yes. Pablo helped me and he was so nice and he changed it super fast. I will always go to the Kirkland location from now on. They are the best! Thank you.”
“Joseph I believe his name was…went above and beyond to help me with my car battery situation. he spent a good hour with me and was thorough and made an A++ effort. I really appreciated his customer service.”
“Nice, clean, well stocked store. The staff was fantastic. I had fluid leaking from my car and an employee (I think his name was Kannon) came out and spent a good 15 minutes checking under the hood and trying to help me figure out what was wrong, and offering options for temporary fixes until I can get it to a mechanic. Took a stressful situation and helped make it so much more manageable. I’m very grateful for the help I received today and plan on going back here for all my auto part needs in the future.”
“I rarely leave reviews but this shop is a 10/10.
Geremy was helpful and knowledgeable. I went in with a car problem and he helped me figure it out. I went from being stressed about my car to feeling confident about it running properly.
I think this one interaction made me an O’Reillys for life kind of guy. Goes to show how one good customer interaction keeps people coming back. Geremy was great, thank you again man ?”
“Took my wife's car over because of battery issues. Charles tested the battery, confirmed it was dead, and installed the new one we purchased. Afterward he tested the alternator too to make sure everything else was ok. Great guy, great experience, will be back in the future. Thank you!”

“Manager Paul is the Most helpful employee in the state of Washington. My 76 Chevy limped into the parking lot. Leaking transmission fluid and I was stuck. With a exhausted wife & cranky kids in tow and Paul found the right hose and saved the day!!! If you’re in trouble and don’t know what to do come see Paul at Orielly’s and let him save the day! God Bless Paul ??”
“They helped me troubleshoot a malfunction lawn mower today… installing a new air filter and a new spark plug. It didn’t fix the root cause, but I appreciate their precious time and generous help. Want to give them a 5-star and big thanks!”
“Best service i ever got!!! Thanks for the workers of this office O'Reilly. They helped me a lot in my needs. i really appreciate them with their knowledge and professionalism, also great customer service!!! I would like to admit Isaac and Jay as a great professionals in their job!”
“Hate to say it, but my old cheap interstate batteries were better. Use these guys and the batteries do with but they take more maintenance than normal and they dont explain this part to you when purchasing. My old batteries died after 4 years no matenance. These died in just uner 11 months.
They told me they would not replace the batteries and I would have to purchase a new set from then. Over all customer service is pretty normal
I was able repair reuse them so I can say the batteries do work, they just take more maintenance than I wanted to deal with. Also they are pretty cheap and are local so that is a plus.”
“I picked my car up from the shop late in the evening while it was raining, exhausted, and just ready to get home. Everything had finally been fixed and the car looked great, but I knew the battery was on its last leg. I pulled up O’Reilly in Maps without much thought and ended up at this location, and honestly, I’m really glad I did.
That’s where I met Jose and two other team members, and from the moment I walked in, they were friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. One of them noticed I’m a veteran, thanked me for my service, and made sure the discount was applied. That may seem like a small thing, but after a very long and draining day, it meant more than they probably realized.
Jose helped me figure out exactly which battery I needed, and I assumed that would be the end of it. But he didn’t stop there. Without hesitation, he grabbed his tools, walked outside in the rain, and installed the battery for me on the spot. I knew it was close to quitting time, and I fully expected him to say I’d need to come back another day or do it myself. Instead, he just wanted to help.
He had the old battery out and the new one in within minutes, no rush, no attitude, just solid, honest help. That kind of service is rare these days, and it really stuck with me.
Jose, if you happen to read this, thank you again, brother. And to the rest of the team who helped me that night, I truly appreciate you. You turned a frustrating, exhausting day into a reminder that there are still people out there who care about doing right by others. I’ll be coming back here for my auto parts from now on, no question about it.”
“This place is AWESOME! I went to several O'Reilly auto stores, and Ace hardware stores, and even a Toyota specialized store, and this was the only place that had a U bolt to replace my stripped one. Seth, I wanted to let you know your solution / Ubolt worked! My license plate is firmly secure again. Give Seth a raise! He really helped me out, and I just had to say Thank You!”
““Hello, Central Casting? Can you send over an actor to play the counter man in a battery store?”The guy that showed up is perfect for the role. From the moment he settled himself onto the stool behind the cash register, you know that he is perfect. He moves slowly and uses as few words as possible with customers. He looks like he has been there for years and during that time, he has learned every detail of the batteries he has in stock and the ones he can get for your special jobs.“That one over there,” he tells you without pointing. He is right. The one on the second shelf third from the left has the right cranking amps, fits into your battery pan and comes with a decent warranty. It weighs a ton and you are not going to get any help lifting it onto the counter, so don’t ask. Don’t forget to put the battery you are replacing up there too.Batteries are expensive, so any deal you can get helps. The prices here are competitive enough that it is not worth shopping around once you are here. There is paperwork involved in buying a battery. Even more if you are recycling some old batteries at the same time. The counterman knows all the mysterious key taps that the computer needs, he knows the paper forms that have to be filled out, he expertly reviews your ID and he has a ritual of wiping down your card to make sure it will go through the first time. There is no rushing this process, so don’t try.I have had quite a few battery situations this year and I have always gotten what I needed at a decent price. I can hardly wait for the solar power system in the boat to need a new battery. I know just where I will go.”
“Made an appointment same day to get my screen fixed on my cell. Got there, and they told me that the repair guy was not in today. Taylor was very sincere, and looking to find a solution. He called the South center location, and got me in right away. I would have gave 5 stars, but I am pretty certain that they use inferior glass compared to what comes on a stock Samsung Ultra. I had a ton of micro scratches within days. Had my previous screen for 2 years without that type of wear. Taylor was a bright spot in a crap situation. Hard to find people that care about what they are doing. Keep it up Taylor it's hard to find genuine folks these days.”
“Came in on a Friday afternoon to purchase a low light headlight bulb for my Hyundai. I saw a video online of how to change it which seemed pretty easy, but Isaiah helped me out and installed it in the parking lot! I appreciate Isaiah’s customer service and prompt assistance. Thank you so much!”

“Awesome store- great service! The trunk latch was stuck - I had this problem before and asked Max- an associate working - if he wouldn't mind looking at it with me. Next, he had Sarah come out. Both were open that they weren't mechanics- but they would do their best to help me figure out what I needed. Max lent me a screwdriver and Sarah got wd40 when the screwdriver alone wouldn't work. I was able to get the latch unstuck! I went ahead and got those supplies in case it becomes an ongoing issue and I need something in a pinch before getting the latch replaced. Max and Sarah’s customer service led me to buy two things even though the problem was fixed — I did that as a precaution, but I'm usually the type of guy who prices everything out at bottom-dollar competitors. Their service negated that entirely! Thank you Max and Sarah!”
“Above and beyond! Today I went by the store in Woodinville to replace my wiper blades on my Audi A8. Another auto parts supplier wasn't willing to help but Jenny made it clear she would and found the right blades and how to install them. She showed me at the car and the connection point was tricky so she got Michael to come out to help me. My son and I were ecstatic and this is where I'll be going for all of my auto parts needs. Thank you Jenny and team!”

“Amazing customer service! The associates were so wonderful and helpful walking me through how to change my car battery and letting me know what kind of tools and supplies I would need after my car broke down. So wonderful!”
“everybody at this store is super friendly and helpful except for the manager, every time i have interacted with her she talks in a very condescending manner. my trip there today during checkout i tried to use tap to pay and she stared at me while it wasnt working and then just said “it works for everyone else.” before i got out my card. she then asked if i wanted a receipt which i replied yes to. she then said “well its linked to your account so you wont need it for that”. every interaction ive had with her has been like this. and i remain polite every time. she absolutely should not be the manager.”

“Went in with a headlight out, discovered the connector was fried. Crystle helped me replace the connector and referred me to some trusted local shops to look at the electric. She really went above and beyond to make sure that I left with a car that was safe to drive and a plan to fix the underlying problem. Thanks Crystle!”
“Simon is Amazing! I stopped by after work to get new wipers, and having never changed them on my car before, I had some issues. Simon came right out to help me and got the wipers on in no time. He was friendly, polite and even took my garbage for me after he finished! Wonderful customer service!”
“Max the manager, and all of the store crew at the 112th location store #2887 are the best of any O'Reilly Auto Parts!!!!!
They are always willing to go above and beyond to fix your auto needs!!! I will not go to any other O'Reilly!!!!!!!”
“Went in yesterday to get a new bulb for my blinker, but changing the bulb didn't help. I ended up getting a ton of troubleshooting help from the staff and we ended up fixing it!”
“Shane deserves the highest praise and accommodations.
My Mercedes wouldn’t start in the Kenmore McDonalds parking lot.
I called Mercedes for roadside assistance. I waited three hours only to find that my call had not been processed.
It was cold and raining and I’m a senior citizen and was scared as well.
So I called O’Reillys to see if they could help me.
It wasn’t even 5 minutes and Shane was there to check my battery. He said although it was only a 2022 it didn’t have much life left in it.
So I went inside and purchased a new battery.
He not only put it in for me, he went to his car to get me a blanket to keep me warm!!!
He was extremely respectful of me, but also my car.
He was so assuring and kind I immediately get in control and could safely drive home.
Thank you just isn’t enough. But kudos to whoever hired him. He’s a real gem.”
