“This is great spot for your pre/post cruise stay. I’m only giving 4 stars for the sketchy neighborhood. While I wasn’t bothered by the street folks actively preparing their drugs to sell and people urinating in the street, some may clutch their pearls. The location can’t be beat, walking distance to all the great tourist spots like Space Needle and Pikes Market. The staff is great ,very friendly and although the hotel is clearly an older bldg it has been well cared for and is very clean. I appreciated the extra touches like water and coffee in lobby and the in room snacks. Cruise port service was excellent and super convenient.”

“Stayed one night with our pup. Enjoyed the pineapple theme and decor. Hotel is very walkable in the university district with University Way and many restaurants nearby.

Many Dog amenities. And yes they have a “resort” fee to cover all these amenities.
We enjoyed lunch at Big Time Brewery, dinner at Aqua verde Cafe on Portage Bay, and breakfast at Portage Bay Cafe. It was a great stay and would love to stay here again.”

“I recently attended a 4-day international conference at the Hyatt. 5-star experience all around. The staff maintained our conference spaces impeccably. The lunch was absolutely delicious with most major allergies accommodated and all buffet items labeled with allergens. The elevator often took a long time to arrive at the beckoning floor, but the escalator was very efficient and encouraged more activity. Again, an incredible, welcoming site for any conference.”

“Stayed here while visiting seattle for the my chemical romance concert and had a fine time here.
It was comfortable, mostly quiet at night, and nicely renovated.
The staff at the front office were very friendly. The included breakfast was breakfast sandwiches you warmed up in the microwave or cereal, and some coffee.
The location was convenient to 99/Aurora Ave however, it didnt feel like an overly nice area to visit.
It was very budget friendly and I did enjoy our stay - if you are needing somewhere cheap to rest your head, this could be a fantastic option.”

“This was my first time visiting Seattle, and staying at the Marco Polo Motel in Room 226 was such a memorable experience! I love that they honor Kurt Cobain by allowing guests to specifically book this room, it felt really special. The complimentary Room 226 keychain and vintage postcard of the motel were such thoughtful touches that added to the nostalgic vibe and is a special keepsake for my visit to Seattle and staying in this particular room.

Everyone at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was clean, quiet, and private. I especially appreciated the natural light and the abundance of windows that let in the cool Seattle breeze, it made the space feel airy and peaceful.

The room and the office both give off that authentic ‘90s vibe, making you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, but everything is still modern and comfortable enough to enjoy fully. It is also close to everything we needed such as Kurt’s Lake Washington home, downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill and Pike Place Market. I’ll definitely be booking here again when I come back to Seattle!”

“I had a fantastic stay at the Silver Cloud Hotel Lake Union. The beds were incredibly comfortable — one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had in a hotel in a long time.

“Great hotels - two in one - Staybridge Suites and Even Hotel. Great location. Clean spacious suites with fully stocked kitchens. Underground parking lot. Kind,, conscientious and professional staff. Daniel in sales was amazing and helped our big wedding group so much. We had 1 person in a wheelchair that needed an ADA room, and it was hard to find one in South Lake Union. Daniel followed through and made sure we were well taken care of. He followed through with text messages to ensure everything was good. Love that!

Front desk staff, Jeremy, was extra kind too. And all of the breakfast kitchen staff on both Staybridge Suites level and Even Hotel level.

“I chose this location for my business trip and absolutely love it. When I visited this hotel it was during the first week of October and they were under construction, but this did not impact the service quality at all.
The staff were so nice and friendly. They responded to my request promptly and made sure I got everything I need.
Room was super great. My bathroom was very spacious, and there was a door next to the bathtub where I could open to see the bed, which I found very interesting.
I also had complimentary breakfast during my stay and service was chef kiss.
I will definitely come back to this hotel next time I’m in town.”

“Rooms are big and clean. Hot breakfast included. Pancake machine not working ?. Bathrooms are large with shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion all in included. Front desk was friendly and welcoming but would disappear for long periods leaving no one at the desk. The coffee and tea station was nice to grab a drink from all day. The cold water dispenser needed filling more often as the weather was hot. Fruit bowl was empty most of the time. The grounds could use a little garden area for visitors to gather on a sunny day.”

“This motel 6 is a place I wouldn't stay at again. The owner needs to do more to make it safe for it's customers. Especially people that stay there with their kids. To much drug activity and not enough security. Management is ok. Front desk staff is great. Hats off to Jeanette and Christina. Always treating the customer with respect. “Need a few things in bathroom of the room- hooks to hang wet swim stuff and towels
A little hotter then tepid water for showers - the pools showers were hotter.
Might think about hand soap dispenser for bathroom because its a waste of a bar of soap. You have shower stuff , do the foam soap for wall bathroom like in restaurants

“The lady who checked me in was great. We always stay at this hotel because of its warm hospitality, clean rooms, and fast check-in and check-out. It offers a good breakfast and a swimming pool, and it’s conveniently close to Woodinville and Bothell downtown.”

“I booked my room at Columbia Motor Inn on a Wednesday night after I discovered my cheap AirBNB room wasn't someone's spare bedroom, but a tiny windowless room in the basement of a house with a dozen or more guests—I couldn't sleep there. I'm glad I was able to stay at Columbia instead!

Sure, maybe this motel is a little rough around the edges, but the price was right, the night clerk was friendly, my room was clean and felt safe, and I got a good night's sleep. Aurora is a busy street but I wasn't disturbed by any noise. I could tell this is a place where the staff takes pride in their work, and it was just what I needed!”

“Great location. The staff were very nice. We had a two room suite and it was very nice. There a couple of issues. TV would not show the local channels and some of the basic cable channels. I called the front desk and they sent up a maintenance person. He showed up about 45 minutes later and we were tired and didn’t want to deal with it. We ended up watching the Rookie on the Lifetime channel. We like that show so no big deal.
The beds are very nice looking but very firm, really firm, it felt like sleeping on a table top. I know from my younger years of partying what it feels like to sleep (pass out) on a table top.
Those are my only two complaints. The location is great!”

Walkability: To the water front”

“OVERVIEW: This is an ecclectic boutique hotel located in Seattle. Conveniently located within walking distance of Downtown, the Waterfront, Pikes Market & Belltown. While I had a rental car, I found myself walking most places. There's an advantage to this as it allows you to get the feel for the neighborhoods and experience more. I have been to Seattle numerous times, specifically this area as well. However there were glass blowing shops, retail stores, coffee shops and other single-owned businesses that I have otherwise missed when driving the area and due to having to pay closer attention to traffic and less of the scenery. LOCATION: The location is perfect. Located on the Metrolink, within walking distance of downtown, the pier, the waterfront, the space needle, and any coffee shop you coukd want to go to. A convenient location that is extremely walkable and safe during both the daytime and evening hours. INTERIOR: Tastefully brightly colored. Lobby with an easily accessible and friendly front desk. Elevators are adjacent to the lobby. They have a Fitness facility, a small kitchen area, a small bar area, and very comfortable seating in the lobby. I came during Christmas, and it was wonderfully decorated to include reindeer, a tree, and a surprise. Find the elf every night and win a complimentary gift. I won the last night I was here and was extremely thrilled with the cup, hot chocolate, cake pop, and complimentary beverage coupons. This is an encouraging environment in which to have fun with an air hockey table, multiple board games, puzzles, and a Pac-Man video game old school. And yes, I did observe several people over my 4-day stay that did partake in the fun and games. It was a very relaxed environment. PARKING: There are three options for parking. You can use the underground parking which is secure and very convenient. You can park on the outdoor top deck, which I did as well. Or you can choose street parking which I do not advise. Parking is at this time of the review $42 a night. It is well worth it. There is no valet option, but you really don't need it. There is a covered overhang that is more than adequate for four vehicles in case it should be inclement weather by your arrival or departure. When you depart, please keep in mind that it is a left turn only. You are pulling onto a one-way street. LODGING: Upon arrival you receive a spacious room with a queen size bed or two double beds and option of one bathtub or a shower and an air conditioning unit and usually a view of either the city or the monorail. I chose the city and was very pleasantly surprised the rooms were quiet. I did run the air conditioner fan just for white noise and slept like a baby. There is a small chair with an ottoman in the room as well as a very large screen TV and a huge desk. The room was extremely clean. I did not find the usual dust bunnies or hair anywhere within the room or bathroom. COMPLIMENTARY: You receive unlimited free bottled water & coffee. In addition, they have complimentary pineapple infused water, which was quite tasty. They do have additional beverages and snacks for purchase. They offer complimentary umbrellas for use on those inclement weather days. They are colorful and large, making it easier for your visibility. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Outstanding. I dont say that lightly, I measure this based upon my previous stays at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills Hotel, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, and Fairmont Brands to mention a few. Service with the front desk was professional, personalized & knowledgeable about the area. While checking you in, they treat you as if they are a concierge. You don't feel rushed. They answer any and all questions you have and make you feel very welcome. They have an "Everything" button on your telephone that was answered by the third ring . . . Every time. CONCLUSION: Will I be back? The question is, WHEN will I be back.”

“This classy Hyatt Place is right in downtown Seattle. You can practically see the Space Needle from the front doors. Check in was easy and the staff members were kind and accommodating. The paid parking garage was a little tight to navigate, but definitely a bonus as we didn't want to park along the street. Our room with two queen beds was clean and spacious. Although we weren't up early enough for the complimentary breakfast, it's a great perk for those who are. I've stayed in Hyatt Places across the country and this was the nicest location I've visited.”
