“Took the Knife Skills class with Chef Paul and it was fantastic! Chef is so knowledgeable and a great educator; he not only taught techniques but also the history of the knives that were used. Chef Paul demonstrated and taught many cutting techniques and explained how and when each is used. The class was very hands on, we each had our own cutting boards, veggies, and knives. Additionally, the other staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. Strongly recommend taking a class here.”

“We worked with Jade throughout our process for our new kitchen and I am SO thankful to have someone as knowledgeable as her to guide me through the process. She answered all of my questions, helped me pick the best layout when I had no idea what I wanted, came up with great ideas on the fly, was on site for instillation, and was always available for questions. When one of our cabinets arrived warped, Jade ordered us a new one (for free) that arrived incredibly fast, and she personally delivered it, making sure we got it as quickly as possible. She was always on top of communication with us, and I am so thankful for her skills, guidance and knowledge throughout this process. I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone, and plan to use Jade and United again in the future for our laundry room!”

“A1 Cabinets& Granite by far has the best service, pricing, quality of stones and work. It was a very smooth communication with Kelvin and Casey. There are many varieties of stones that we can choose from. We brought our measurements to the show room, pick the stone we like and set up an appointment for the installation. We highly recommend A1 Cabinets & Granite to anyone who’s looking to an upgrade their kitchen and bathroom.”

“Discount tile outlet has good quality tile at great prices. I had shopped around, and I could not find a single tile that looked decent. I even doubled the amount I was willing to pay and STILL the tile looked cheap. Tile that was advertised as “looks like real stone!” did not even come close to looking like real stone. Laying tile is hard work; it is noisy and messy, so doing all that work and putting up with all the mess and noise for tile that I did not like was not an option. I was given the name of discount tile by a friend whose husband is a contractor, and I will not be wasting my time going anyplace else in the future. Thank you, Laird, for a fantastic experience! I will see you again when I’m ready to redo my kitchen floor!”

“Thanks to this store, we ended up with the highest quality cabinet and stone work. They are one of the few people that give affordable quartzite stone installation. It’s harder than granite to cut quartzite and they did a beautiful waterfall with it! Highly recommend.”

“Such an adorable homeware store on Mercer Island! I've been back several times, and while the items rotate and the shelves get rearranged periodically, the customer service remains fantastic and the merchandise remains well-curated and useful! I am glad to be able to be within a reasonable distance of such a store.”

“We are very happy with our new shower from Bath Fitter. The sales person was knowledgeable and easy to work with and the installation crew was friendly, polite and super efficient. It took exactly the amount of time the sales person shared with us and the crew left our bathroom and home clean. We’ve enjoyed our showers this week and feel much safer with the step-in design. No more tub!! Thanks Bath Fitter!”

“Went in today with my mother to find some specialty olive oils for our pasta. Rebbeka was amazing and very friendly. She sold us a number of oils and even a blackberry vinegar for salmon dinners (highly recommend). Rebbeka’s client service was top notch and she deserves to be recognized. Highly recommend checking out this shop if you’re in the area or planning a shopping trip to Bellevue Square mall. Thanks, Rebbeka!”

“This review is coming from someone who had a very difficult home remodel not too long ago. There was multitude of items that I felt my previous contractor could have done differently which could have prevented the situation from getting too stressful. So when we discovered dry rot in our carport during a walkthrough with another contractor for some touch up painting; I was having flashbacks. This job was unique in that it required both a roofer and a carpenter because it involved both types of structure. I had more than one contractor explain to me how to fix the problem but then promptly reject the job because they did not have a roofer on staff. Trying to coordinate two completely separate contractors is like trying to corral cats; you can't. One of the big advantages of going with Richard in our case was he had a roofer on staff. His outfit is sort of a one stop shop. Richard was very responsive in his communication and we replaced our deteriorating wood and updated our roof shortly thereafter to prevent further damage. Richard came in at the estimate we agreed upon at the beginning. We hope we don't have to do any major repairs on our home but Mallory Contracting will definitely be one of the outfits we reach out to for an estimate should the need arise. My wife and I were satisfied.”

“We used Cabinet Works for our new kitchen remodel. We had a design but Jonas, the owner, brought some great design ideas that we incorporated. We were interested in using CW because they tout using all plywood construction for their cabinets, which we really wanted after having cheap Ikea cabinets made of particle board. CW is an old-school shop and makes everything by hand. The quality is great and they did all of the detailing as we wanted. Their installer, Vald, did a terrific job with the installation and really helped us get it right. I would ask for him as your installer. We are pleased with how things turned out and it met our budget.”

“I walked into this heaven and was warmly greeted by Joey & offered an espresso or cappuccino. While Cynthia gave this novice an excellent lesson with the Shun Cutlery(Coming back for those bad boys!), Nivek also swung by to make sure I had been offered a beverage. If you’re in the area, please stop by! It was wonderful to visit the original location. Great prices, great staff.”

“We had the good fortune to find Kim K. through our designer for our whole home remodel. Kim knows every detail of every item on the showroom floor. We spent a solid 2 hours picking out finishes for kitchen and bathrooms. Kim pulled it all together into one comprehensive plan at a fair price. Her follow through with small issues and questions are always answered promptly. I will recommend Abbrio for anyone looking for top quality service of high quality finishes.”

“Cabinets are god quality and good looking as well, I have been doing business with them a few years now, the sales department I have no complaints about them. On the other hand the warehouse staff could definitely use some improvement, when you get at the door no one gives you any attention or are interested in helping you, even with a schedule pick up, you would be setting there well over an hour to be attended, they do not want you to come earlier then the scheduled time, and today when I got there the cabinets was not even assembled. Things like this put a big stain on their services. I hope they make some improvements to this.”

“Truly exceptional service is a dying art. Marie and Spencer went above and beyond that level for me. I went to open the cabinets ordered from a manufacturer that takes 8 weeks to deliver for a project, and they were entirely the wrong color and style. I called seemingly every place in town to rush order the replacements. Marie and Spencer bent over backwards to find discontinued cabinets for me, and told me they could be ready as soon as 4 days!!!! Amazing service. I recommend in the highest regard.”
