Pet Care

Liberty Lake Veterinary Center
22026 E Country Vista Dr, Liberty LakeDexter and I had a very good visit with Dr. Bergeron and her staff. I really appreciate that when we come in for an appointment we are greeted with smiles and promptly taken into a room. The tech quickly comes into the room and is very patient and pleasant. Dr. Bergeron is an excellent doctor and I appreciate that she is always patient and. understanding when I have questions or concerns. The ladies at the front desk are knowledgeable and smile easily. They are indeed the "face of the clinic". Jan Wold, Dexter and Fritz !!

Pet Sitting & Training

Happy Tails Dog Training and Behavior
22026 E Country Vista Dr, Liberty LakeHappy Tails ReviewWe participated in the puppy socialization training with Natalie at Happy Tails and I couldn’t be more grateful for the skills and training my pup an I learned over the course of the six week class. There was puppy socialization, group play and training. The classes are built age appropriate and size appropriate. We were in the large/giant breed group. Each week focused on a training topic then we would go home and practice over the following week. The difference for me was the feedback and Natalie’s ability to watch me work with my pup and offer suggestions of what I could do different or better. You don’t get that from watching YouTube or reading training books and it made ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I’m looking forward to working with Natalie in the future for one on one training.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Trailbreaker Cider
2204 N Madson St, Liberty LakeIf you are eating gluten free, this is an excellent choice. Most restaurants put minimal effort into offering gluten free alternatives but this is a place where you can get those items which are never offered gluten free, such as fish and chips and wraps!! I had a GF California wrap and the excellent tomato basil soup. On this night, there were two flavors of cheesecake available: salted caramel and oreo cookie and they both were gluten free! The oreo cookie cheesecake was excellent.
When you first enter, it looks like there aren't many tables but looks are deceiving because there are two more levels of seating upstairs. We chose to sit upstairs and were delighted that the bar staff brought our food to us even though you usually have to get it yourself when it's ready.
I suppose I should talk about the ciders too. For most ciders available in the grocery store, the manufacturer adds more sugar after the brewing is done resulting in a very sweet product with a high sugar content. Trailbreaker does not do this so the ciders have much less sugar (healthier) and are delicious and piquant.
We have been to this cidery multiple times and have loved the food and cider each time.

Snow Eater Brewing Company
2325 N McKinzie Ln, Liberty LakeWould give 6 ⭐️ if possible!
Not many breweries with 3 hazies on tap and all were excellent! Julie & Collin were attentive, informative, friendly and fun. Food very tasty. Pleasant live music. Friendly patrons. An homage to lost service members.
Snow Eater is a great all-around brewery experience.
Even if reviewers that left lower marks were having a bad day, hard to believe it didn’t improve at Snow Eater. Maybe some people just don’t wanna be happy?!

Emrys Beer & Mead Works
21850 E Wellington Pkwy, Liberty LakeTotally underwhelming experience. Greater by two low energy bartenders, like they wanted to be somewhere else.
Asked for a straight up IPA. Answer we don’t have one. Who didn’t have an IPA these days?
I just stood there looking at a wall of Mead beers.
Then she says we have a double IPA. I’m thinking she could have said that!
Didn’t offer me a taste, I had to ask.
It was good and I ordered one, she short poured it.
My wife and I had similar experiences when they first opened but after 6 months we thought we would try again.
We were lottery the only ones in the place…easy to see why.
Just a very disappointing place that I don’t think will make it.
Go to Ya Ya and have fun and enthusiastic bartenders.

True Legends Grill
1803 N Harvard Rd, Liberty LakeTrue Legends is hands down one of the best bar/restaurants around for watching sports! The atmosphere is always fun and welcoming, the food is consistently top-notch, and the staff are some of the best in the business. I recently tried the French Connection, and it was one of the best French dips I’ve had in a long time — absolutely delicious! Highly recommend True Legends for great food, great people, and a great time.
